★ fill in the questions as if you are being interviewed for an article and you were your muse.
TAGGED BY:  Stole it
TAGGING: Steal it
1. WHAT IS YOUR NAME?
Tumblr media
A:  Camhlaidh Moireasdan
Tumblr media
R:  Ruaidhri Allanach
Tumblr media
E:  Eilidh Deòireach
Tumblr media
I: Iomhar Mèinnearach
Tumblr media
Ao: Aodh Murdoc
2. WHAT IS YOUR REAL NAME?
A: Sharing one’s true name so casually is folly.
R: Exactly. And allow yourself to be put at the mercy of the holder? No thank you.
E: Yeah yeah, all in all a bad idea.
Ao: I shudder to think of the ramifications.
I: Haha, yes, an awful idea, truly.
3. DO YOU KNOW WHY YOU’RE CALLED THAT?
A: ‘Relic’.
R: ‘Red king’.
E: ‘Radiant one’.
Ao: Fire.
I: Archer. Yet it is our king who prefers the bow!
A: I suppose our parents’ wishes and wants can be found in our names, er, usually.
E: Maybe, but for this bunch...
I: Minus the little flame’s, however. Quite straightforward with that one.
Ao: Hmph.
R: Perhaps your parents were imbuing their hopes in you for their precious child to live to a ripe, old age?
A: Perhaps...
4. ARE YOU SINGLE OR TAKEN?
A: *clears throat* I know what you all are about to--
E: ‘Your Majesty, when will you begin popping out babies and marrying all of the eligible Seelie gentry! The Council demands it posthaste, the royal jewels are not getting any younger!’
A: *sighs*
5. WHAT ARE YOUR POWERS AND ABILITIES?
A: Even as a prince, there is some magic or connection through the royal blood that granted me certain abilities. Colloquially it is called ‘one beloved by the land’ or anything along those lines. Even without my memories, when I was in the mortal plane, plants and even wildlife were drawn to me of their own accord, and I could manipulate plants as I wish.
E: And now as king he can use his powers to spy on us!
A: W-well not ‘spy’ exactly, I have hardly used them for any seedy or underhanded manner. I am able to see through any part of Seelie that I wish and I am connected to the land in ways that are difficult to explain.
I: The land whispers sweet nothings into his ear apparently.
R: Oh, how salacious!
Ao: This is ridiculous.
A: I agree.
Ao: ...How much can you see through the land? Into our homes? Can you hear things as well?
A: *groans*
6. WHAT COLOR ARE YOUR EYES?
A: Red and gold.
I: Eyes of two colors like that have often meant either the bearer would bring great fortune, or great disaster.
Ao: Yes, there has been much unease throughout the gentry considering recent...events in Seelie and its royal family.
A: You mean the assassination of its two reigning monarchs, the near death of its newest king, the sudden absence of its crown princess to the mortal world, and said newly crowned king deciding to buck millennia of tradition by opening Seelie’s borders and reaching out to other nations, yes? There is little use in dancing around the subject when it is clear what you mean.
Ao: Er....
E: What an incredibly awkward air all of a sudden!
R: Ha, our king can have quite the sharp tongue when he wishes it.
7. HAVE YOU EVER DYED YOUR HAIR?
All: No.
I: None among us have wholly ‘natural’ mortal hair colors anyways.
E: Riri has flowers in his hair, I don’t think he could even dye it if he wanted to anyways! At least...not without dyeing the flowers too.
A: Besides, I doubt any of us could stand the mortal chemicals for an extended period of time.
8. DO YOU HAVE ANY FAMILY MEMBERS?
I: Here we go. My parents became one with the earth some time ago.
Ao: My mother still lives.
E: I have my mother and father.
R: I have my father as well, for better or worst.
A: ...My mother passed when I was young, and my father as well recently. I have one younger sibling, Tara.
I: An unusual thing, to have a sibling.
E: Maybe we all have siblings and we simply don’t know it!
Ao: Please do not suggest such a thing. As if we could deal with two Ruaidhris running about.
R: Ah, Seelie would be all the more blessed by it.
9. DO YOU HAVE ANY PETS?
I: I--
Ao: Claim me as a pet and I run you through with you sword.
I, laughing: Such sharp words! Would you like me to put the sword in your hand then, little flame?
Ao: Ugh, at least react properly when someone threatens you!
A: Anyways...
10. TELL ME ABOUT SOMETHING YOU DON’T LIKE.
R: Duty.
A: Duty.
I: Duty.
E: Duty.
Ao: Goodness, do you all hate the prospect of working on the Council that much?
I: Less the Council and more what the rest of our lineage entails.
11. DO YOU HAVE ANY HOBBIES OR ACTIVITIES YOU DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?
R: Decorating, shopping, finding new mortals to toy with–
A: *clears throat*
R: The last of which I have not engaged in quite some time as per the orders of our new king.
A: Mhm... As for me, reading books, stargazing, and wandering around are things I enjoy. Though free time has not been in abundance as of late.
I: I--
All: We know.
12. HAVE YOU EVER HURT ANYONE BEFORE?
A: Yes. During my years with the Bastion of the Veil, saving some people entailed hurting others.
I: Yes.
Ao: No.
R: Emotionally? Physically? What kind of ‘hurt are we referencing?’
E: I know you had your fun with mortals before the king forbade it but yeesh.
R: *shrugs*
13. HAVE YOU EVER… KILLED ANYONE?
A: Yes.
I: Yes.
R, E, and Ao: No.
14. WHAT KIND OF ANIMAL ARE YOU?
E: Riri’s obviously a snake! I mean, you have the eyes and the tongue!
A: Eilidh is a fox, deceptively playful but cunning when she wants to be.
R: The king is…a stag I would say. One who fittingly leads the herd.
Ao: Iomhar is an ox.
I: Perhaps you meant that as an insult but oxen are rather sturdy and dependable!
R: And our sweet little Aodh here is as stubborn and unpleasant as a mule.
Ao: Hmph!
15. NAME YOUR WORST HABITS.
E: Riri is incredibly self-absorbed, a little bit stupid, very useless, barely able to take care of himself–
R: This is feeling very targeted now!
E: I’m not done yet.
R: You have said enough!
E: The king is a pessimist. Iomhar is brash. And Aodh is clingy!
Ao: *winces*
R: Why was I the only one to receive an entire  list!
16. DO YOU LOOK UP TO ANYONE?
I: Role models are few and far between among the gentry.
R: Tell me about it.
E: Same.
A: I looked up to my mother.
Ao: I also look up to my mother, we have a good relationship-- why is everyone staring?
E: Two mamma’s boys...
17. GAY, STRAIGHT, OR BISEXUAL?
A: The mortal labels?
R: I have no preference, whatever you may call it in those terms.
E: Yeah yeah!
A: Mhm.
I: Heh, yes I am a lover of all--
A: If we do not stop him now, he will go on all day.
18. DO YOU GO TO SCHOOL?
I: Some were more attentive students than others, like our king here.
A: Or  perhaps I simply spent my time with my tutors studies rather than goofing off doing who knows what like you two.
I: Or, more like ‘who’, ha!
R: Precisely. Those days of our youth were halcyon ones indeed. The parties were certainly some of the best parts.
E: A stunning example of the education system among the gentry.
Ao: Honestly....
19. DO YOU EVER WANT TO MARRY AND HAVE KIDS SOMEDAY?
Ao: I do.
R: Probably the most straightforward answer you will receive from this bunch and it is from Aodh of all people.
Ao: What was that?
R: Nothing.
A: ‘Want’ is the key term here, many of us feel beholden to our families and tradition to marry and have children.
I: Hm...
Ao: So silent all of a sudden, Iomhar? How unlike you.
I: Yes, I intend to marry and have children one day.
Ao: Wha-- truly? You?
I: Is there a problem?
Ao: Um, no...
21. WHAT ARE YOU MOST AFRAID OF?
A: Failing.
R: Being trapped.
E: Imprisonment.
I: Obligations.
Ao: Not being enough.
22. WHAT DO YOU USUALLY WEAR?
A: Whatever clothing the tailors have made and is set out for me that day. Of course I have some say in the material, color, and things of the like. Compared to some other fae I suppose my taste is somewhat conservative.
Ao: I as well do not tend towards the flashy like some of our other peers do.
R:  Hahaha, whatever fits my stunning visage the best and makes me catch the attention of the whole room!
E: I like whatever accentuates my breasts and legs the most.
R: I adore your candor.
I: I also enjoy wearing things that accentuate my chest!
R: And what a stupidly distractingly large chest it is--
23. DO YOU LOVE SOMEONE?
E: What a question!
24. WHAT CLASS ARE YOU?
All: High
R: With the king a step above even that of course.
E: “Status” isn’t generally something among the fae, but the gentry are the exception, our family histories span back an incredibly long amount of time.
Ao: Truthfully, it is all we hear from our parents sometimes, how storied our histories are.
25. HOW MANY FRIENDS DO YOU HAVE?
A: …
E: Heavy is the head and all.
I: It can be equally as difficult for gentry to make friends with each other. Or at least make genuine friends.
E: I’m friends with Riri!
Ao: And she swoops in to rub it in...
26. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON PIE?
E: Tasty! If it’s the right one.
A: Pie is fine.
R: I have no issues with it.
I: I prefer savory things, but pie as a dessert can be enjoyable.
Ao: Mm.
27. FAVORITE DRINK?
E: Pomegranate juice.
Ao: Honeyed wine.
R: Wine.
I: Mead. Wine is good as well.
A: Water infused with fruits.
29. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE?
R: Who knows.
E: Hm, I don’t have one.
A: Either the roof of the palace or the meadows and forests surrounding it.
R: Sometimes I truly believe you were meant to be one of the wild and wandering fae of Seelie rather than anchored to its throne.
A: How characteristically astute of you.
I: I am a wanderer! Or at the least, I have found my way into many a beds that were rather delightful.
Ao: Mmmmhmmmm.
30. ARE YOU INTERESTED IN SOMEONE?
E: There are so many people in the world to be interested in!
A: Such a fae answer.
31. WHAT’S YOUR DICK SIZE?
A: I will not be announcing–!
R: What is the point in shame, Your Highness? It is no secret that we have genitalia! I am the proud owner of a glorious seven inches when erect!
A:  Ugh…
I: And I am also eight inches long when erect! And my girth is about six inches!
R: Oh, I should measure my girth as well!
Ao: What on earth... Anyways, mine is six inches, and I have not done anything silly like measuring its ‘girth’.
E: I don’t have one, but I am a fan!
32. WOULD YOU RATHER SWIM IN THE LAKE OR THE OCEAN?
A: Lake.
E: Ocean.
R: Can I say neither?
Ao: I would also say neither.
I: I have no preference.
33. WHAT’S YOUR ‘TYPE’?
A: Someone who I could spend time with and we do not even have to speak. Someone who I can be myself around, whatever that entails.
I: The king is a romantic, who knew!
Ao: Iomhar’s preference is any person that crosses his path and tosses a smile his way.
I: I do not believe in limiting myself, heh. The world is full of beauty of many varieties, why would I deprive myself of any of it?
34. ANY FETISHES?
A: Here we go.
R: Despite the best efforts of many, mine included--
A: What was that?
R: Nothing, Your Majesty! Anyways, despite the best efforts of many gentry, our sweet king has yet to lay with any and is wholly unaware of his likes and preferences.
A: I do not like you answering this question for me.
R: As for me! I enjoy  some roleplay, restraints, domination, being dominated, I am always amenable to being pampered, throw in a little bit of sadism into the mix--
E: We’ll be here all day if we let you list every singly thing you like. I personally enjoy restraining a partner and having some sense of control over them.
I: I enjoy a size difference between me and a smaller partner, talking one into an overstimulated mess, tying a partner or being tied up, I have been called a ‘masochist’ on many an occasion--
Ao: And if we let you go on unchecked, you will be listing things for the entire week! I suppose I will say that my tastes are varied and leave it at that.
E: I’ve heard that you like watching when a partner is being taken by another~
Ao: Wh-where did you hear that!
I: Heh.
Ao: That is it! Give me your sword!
I: Oh gladly!
Ao: You know what I am talking about!
A: ...
35. TOP OR BOTTOM? DOMINANT OR SUBMISSIVE?
A: *shrugs*
I: No preference! I enjoy, er, what were the terms? Topping and being dominant more often than not, but I also enjoy when things are switched around.
R: I feel equal about all things. Variety is the spice of life.
E: I prefer being dominant.
I: The little flame prefers being submissive regardless of whether he is entering or being entered by another.
Ao: Answering for me yet again!
36. CAMPING, OR INDOORS?
A: Camping.
R and E: Indoors.
I and Ao: Also indoors.
E: Ironic that our king would rather rough it in the wilderness.
37. ARE YOU WAITING FOR THIS INTERVIEW TO BE OVER?
A: I feel in need of a nap. Again.
R: I enjoyed myself!
E: As did I!
Ao: Ugh...
I: Aside from the two sourpusses, we all had a nice time!

Gordon stared at the holoprojecter as the subtitles announced that Virgil Tracy, pilot of Thunderbird Two, was critically injured and in hospital.
Various shots of his brother appeared, mostly his typically heroic, saving self, but it was the sight of Virgil at a children’s centre, crouching down to show a four-year-old how to draw Thunderbird Three that tore at Gordon’s heart.
His holographic brother smiled as the small child bounced at the red rocket appearing on the page.
He had his own memories just like that. Except the subjects were fish and squid and Virgil had been so much younger, less scarred, but still so much his gentle and kind brother.
Gordon refused to look back at the bed he was leaning on in that moment. Keep the illusion that his brother was animated, safe and himself.
As the story flicked over, Gordon physically flinched as the asshole politician from yesterday appeared snarling in the holoprojection. The lack of sound did nothing to hide his abusive arrogance.
The projection flicked again, this time bringing up his eldest brother, dressed impeccably in his business suit. His blue eyes haunted. Gordon could see the pain in their shadows. Scott was downstairs in front of this same hospital giving a press conference regarding the incident.
Despite the hurt and lack of sleep, Scott’s words were firm and cutting as he shredded the curse of a man on live broadcast. Both John and Eos had done a number on that nameless politician - Gordon refused to give him the courtesy of a name. Eos, in particular, had called in Penelope. The AI may not have any fondness for Gordon, but she certainly had admiration for Penelope.
Maybe it was shared lethality, because once his girlfriend was involved...John may be nasty, but Penny was vicious.
And Virgil was a loved one.
As if reading his thoughts, the ‘projector switched again to scenes of Virgil doing good. It even included an excerpt of a very brief interview with his engineer brother after a fairground rescue a couple of years ago. Virgil had been painting when the callout came and the streak of blue on his cheek was still hilarious as he typically told all children to brush their teeth after eating cotton candy.
This time it brought tears to Gordon’s eyes. Virgil hated the dentist.
Don’t forget to brush your teeth.
Gordon ran a hand over his face, tears smearing messily everywhere.
“Dearest...” And suddenly Penny was there, hand in his hair, an arm around his shoulders, perfect pink nails resting on his shirt. She drew him close, and while the gallant at the back of his head demanded he bottle it up, his honesty had him clinging to her.
He blinked at the blur of pink suit. “Penny...” Her name said everything he needed to express.
“You saved him. He has a chance and he’s strong, Gordon. Just like you.”
He closed his eyes and breathed in her perfume.
Gordon loved all his brothers. They were precious in each of their ways. Scott, the father figure who would do anything for any of them, include take on Gordon at his worst. The arguments were legendary...as were the quiet moments of shared military reminiscence and solidarity.
John was quiet, precise and devoted. No one touched a Tracy without feeling the wrath of Thunderbird Five. The current example exemplary.
And so many nights of helping Gordon through his math homework.
Alan was his best friend, his partner in both heroics and crime. His only little brother, his responsibility in making sure he didn’t grow up too serious.
And Virgil...
Virgil was always there. Less the father figure of their determined eldest brother, softer, calmer, just as loving and...there.
All his brothers had made him into who he was, but Virgil was always there, holding him up as he stumbled on those blasted parallel bars; watching from the bleachers at the pool, sketchbook in hand; hovering above the ocean in his beloved Thunderbird keeping an eye on Gordon as he swooped below the waves.
Almost all of his earliest memories involved Virgil in some way. His quiet presence, always there.
Except now.
Because not even Scott’s determined gutting of that asshole on live projection, not even Penny’s lovely perfume and the absolutely gorgeous pink of her blouse...could hide the fact that the man on the bed...his brother...
...was not there.

@inukag-week Marriage prompt this idea ended up longer then intended so I’m breaking it up into chapters 😅
1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8
As Kagome rounded a corner of the castle hallway near her parent’s bedroom, she overheard something that sent a chill right down her spine. Knowing this could be her fate and accepting it were two different things, and maybe… just maybe she’d hoped they wouldn’t have subjected their precious daughter to such a medieval concept. Her back fell against the wall as her hands covered up the scream bubbling up in her throat. This wasn’t fair! It wasn’t right! How could they do this to her? All her life she’d played the dutiful role of Princess, never once giving into her whims, but oh how she longed for something more than these walls— And now it appeared she may never experience anything more than a royal obligation.
Unless she did something about it.
“Marriage in one year’s time as part of the alliance…” Kagome heard her father say.
“He is a good man and fine suitor. I pray Kagome will take to him well…” added her mother.
That was all Kagome could bear to hear.
She slipped away back to her room and gathered up only what would fit in a carry sack. The plainest attire she had, toiletries, precious personal items, and some money she had tucked away. It was a dangerous gamble Kagome was about to take and one she couldn’t even fathom the consequences for her parents. But in that moment, the thought of being sent away to some random Prince was akin to being sold like a slave and that was something she just couldn’t bear. They didn’t even confer with her on this! If they loved her, wouldn’t they have talked to her about this?! And yet at dinner they were still silent, never bringing up their plans for their daughter. Any doubts of running died away by the end of the meal and her mind was set.
Under the cover of darkness, Kagome donned her riding outfit cloaked by a hooded cape and stole away to the stables. She knew the stable boy would be away for his meal in the servants quarters, so as quietly as possible, she packed her horse for the journey. Buyo was a fine stead and waited patiently as Kagome loaded him up with a bed roll and her bag, making sure to use a worn harness rather than any of the royal gear. The last thing a lone woman traveler needed to do was bring attention to themselves. Finally with a bow and arrow strapped to her back, she lead the horse out of the castle walls to the world that awaited her.
It was imperative that Kagome got as far away as quickly as she could to avoid being tracked. Her parents would no doubt send out search parties once they found her letter in the morning. So, where should she go? For starters, she stayed away from the well-traveled roads within the cover of the forest. Using a map she’d stolen from her father’s war room, she surmised it would take about three days to reach the border between her country and the next one over. It was a start. Maybe get to their capital city where it would be easier to blend into a larger population.
Princess or not, Kagome was no shrinking violet when it came to getting her hands dirty. Most of the castle staff treated Kagome like a delicate flower— but not Sango. Her attendant had come from a well-respected noble house of warriors, and she was the one who taught Kagome to use a weapon, ride a horse, and other things not associated with a ‘proper’ princess. Oh, those were some of her fondest memories! And if there was one thing, she’ll miss is having Sango around to talk to. She’d thought about telling the woman but realized it would only put her in jeopardy to have such information. Maybe once she’d settled down somewhere she’ll send an unsigned letter so the woman would know she was okay.
Kagome stopped in small villages along the way only long enough to purchase food. She could have paid for lodging too, but that may have roused suspicions for a lone traveling woman. During the day she rode through worn earthen roads and at night searched out hidden caves or groves for shelter off the beaten path. Bandits were still a problem so she needed to be cautious since a pretty young girl could fetch a decent price in the slave markets. It was a lonely journey, her only solace the one book she brought to read by firelight in her makeshift camps. A favorite of hers. An ancient fable of a warrior priestess who fell in love with the very creature she was tasked to destroy. It was a sad tale, but Kagome fell in love with the idea of finding love in the most unexpected way.
“Not like being given away as property,” Kagome mumbled to herself. “I wanna love and be loved, is that too much to ask for?” Not because she was a Princess, and it certainly didn’t need to be a real Prince as long as they wanted her for her. She could be happy just living in a small cottage where she’d tend to a farm and raise their children. A simple lifestyle not full of obligations and surrounded by fake personalities just trying to gain a royals favor.
It took four days to reach the Inu kingdom and another two to the capital city. Kagome had only heard stories of it, so to see it with her own eyes it was quite a surprise. Not only was it bigger, but there was a larger mix of human and demons living amongst each other. Perhaps because it was ruled by a demon? Sango had told her the Inutaisho lord was a very powerful one but had an affinity for humans not always shared in their world. So much so in fact that he took a human Princess as one of his queens. That was certainly different to Kagome, because while concubines were still a thing in royal houses, having two Queens was not. Such a situation could cause territorial in-fighting and has brought down Houses before. It was a fascinating idea, and she had to admit there was a bit of curiosity as to what they looked like.
She boarded Buyo at a stable, then decided to wander around the marketplace to find something to eat, maybe clothing more suited to the commoner look she needed to portray. So, she wove her long hair up into a braided halo wrap style, strapped a small dagger to her waist, and set off into the crowded streets. This must be a major trading station, Kagome realized, because the market had a large variety of goods, some very exotic looking indeed. So much food, clothing, beautiful fabrics and accessories, weapons, really anything you could think of. The Princess in her ogled a few of the gorgeous dresses, but alas, that wasn’t her anymore.
‘Oh, what’s that…’ Her nose turned up to a sweet scent wafting over from a few stalls away. Something smelled decadently delicious.
She walked over to take a peak and found an array of different dessert type confections being sold. “So pretty,” Kagome mumbled as her mouth watered.
“Very and delicious too.” A voice spoke back.
Kagome turned to the female voice. “Oh, hello,” she smiled. “Have you tried these before?” She asked the young girl.
“Mmhmm,” the girl nodded.
The child looked about the age of 7 or 8, wearing an orange and pink colored fine silk dress. Her hair was styled, though was a bit of a mess as if she’d been running around. Certainly, this girl must be from a noble family, but as Kagome looked around and saw no one paying any attention to her, she wondered. “May I ask. Where are your attendants? A young one like you shouldn’t be walking around alone here.”
In an instant, the child’s small smile flipped into a quivering frown and moisture pooled in her eyes. “I-I got lost.”
“Oh dear.” Seeing the verge of tears ready to spill, Kagome kneeled down and hugged the girl. “It’s okay. I’ll help you find your servant.”
“I’m sorry!” The child whined and sobbed quietly. “I was bad and ran away because I just wanted a treat, but she told me no.”
“Shhh,” Kagome’s voice softened. “You’re gonna be okay. What’s your name?”
“Rin.”
“Rin, my name is Kagome.” She pulled back and wiped the child’s tears stained cheeks. “How about I get you a treat to cheer you up, hmm, would you like that?”
“Mmhmm,” the child sniffled and smile returning.
Kagome purchased a couple of the sweet cakes and handed one to the girl. “Now, do you know where your home is?”
Rin pointed towards the castle causing Kagome to flinch a bit. “You live in the castle?”
“Uh-huh.” The girl mumbled now happy with her treat.
Maybe Rin’s parents are nobles working for the King, Kagome surmised. It wasn’t uncommon for advisors or other higher ranking statesman to live in parts of the castle so they could be called upon at any time. And though she dreaded the chance of being caught so soon, this child couldn’t be left alone. “How about we wait a few more minutes just in case your attendant finds you? I’ll stay right here until then, okay?”
“Okay— Lady Kagome?”
“Yes?”
“Where are you from? How come you’re by yourself?”
Wow, this child was blunt, Kagome mused at her bright, inquisitive eyes. “Well, you see my parents are gone now, so it’s just me.”
“Awww! Me too, but I was adopted, and I love my new daddy! He’s mean to everyone else but spoils me,” she giggled. “What do you do? Are you married?”
Kagome was again taken aback at Rin’s questions, but she reminded herself that children are curious creatures and held no ill will towards it. She chuckled. “I’m not married and I um…” Crap! She forgot to come up with a cover story! “I’m a teacher, but since I left home, I guess it means I’m looking for a job. That’s why I came to the city.”
“Really?!” The child excitedly grabbed Kagome’s hands and started pulling. “We’ve waited long enough. Let’s go!”
“Wait! But your attendant?”
“She’s mean and I like you better.” Rin tugged harder. “Come on Kagome, take me home please! I wanna show you where I live.”
“O-Okay. Okay.” She wasn’t sure what got Rin excited all of a sudden, but she allowed the girl to pull her along.
While they made their way towards the castle, Kagome held onto the child’s hand. Rin appeared content now, happily pointing out different things as they passed by stalls or people and just behaving like a normal young kid on a stroll. Most of the noble children Kagome’s ever been around, were prim and proper whereas Rin had a feisty strength that reminded her of herself… when no one was around to see it. It must be nice to feel so free of restraint.
The entrance guards immediately waved them through once they saw Rin holding tightly to Kagome’s hand. The probably assumed she was just another one of the Princesses attendants or servants. It was a beautiful palace, sleeker than her own with gleaming white, alabaster walls, golden trimmed windowpane’s, surrounded by high-guarded walls. Once inside, Kagome was taken aback at the feudal decadence, but she couldn’t stop to really look closely because Rin was a girl on a mission. The child took them past surprised servants who bowed to the Princess with wary looks at this strange woman accompanying the girl. Down hallways, never deviating from her path into the heart of the palace.
Finally, Rin pulled Kagome into a room once she’d found who she was looking for.
“Papa!” The child squealed and ran towards a stately male with long white hair pulled back and a crown topping his head. “Papa Toga! I brought someone to meet you!”

FAME: A Legacy Challenge
Tumblr media
Sul sul simmers!
Like many of you, one of my favorite things to do in The Sims is play Legacy Challenges. They lead you to explore new aspects of gameplay, give you new imaginative ideas, and facilitate storytelling. So, a couple of nights ago I got the idea to create a new kind of legacy challenge revolving around different aspects of fame.
The goal isn’t exactly to become the most famous using said career/ skill, but to play around with different elements of the fame system in the game. You by no means need all the packs to play through this legacy. While the experience would be more complete and you will be missing careers and skills and stuff you can obviously adapt it to your need. Also, you are more than welcomed to use mods to enrich your gameplay. I myself can’t play without mods and look forward to see what kind of chaos mods can add to this challenge.
So without further a do below are the 10 generations I concocted like a fever dream at 2 am on a Saturday evening:
Gen 1: A Shaky Foundation
Traits: Cheerful, Ambitious, Self-Absorbed
Career: Acting, Style Influencer (Trendsetter Branch)
You move to a new city full of hopes and dreams. You initially pursue your dream of becoming an actor. However, your career is cut short by the unexpected arrival of your first child. You retreat from the spotlight in order to raise your baby and put all of your energy into making sure they have the best future possible. The rest of the time you spend either working or trying to unwind from your demanding life. What will fate bring you and your descendants?
Goals:
Move into an empty lot with 1600 simoleons for the bare minimum.
Start in the Acting Career, but abandon it for the Style Influencer career once your first child is born. Remain in the Style Influencer Career and eventually choose the Trendsetter Branch.
Max out the Style Influencer Career.
Reach level 10 of the Parenting and Wellness Skills.
Be close friends with all of your children and make sure they each age up with at least 2 positive character attributes.
Gen 2: Get Your Head in the Game
Traits: Active, Music Lover, Outgoing
Career: Athlete, Entertainment (Musician Branch)
Your parent might have seemed very overbearing at the time, but they instilled a work ethic in you like no other. Your entire life you were split between your two passions: basketball and singing. Okay, fine, you're Troy Bolton. After succeeding in the sports world you still find yourself feeling somewhat unfulfilled. You enter the entertainment career later on in life to live out your dreams. Will this be the start of something new?
Goals:
Max out the Athlete Career and then switch to the Entertainment Career (Musician Branch).
Max out the Fitness and Singing Skills.
Be in the drama club in high school.
Gen 3: Going for the Stars
Traits: Clumsy, Loner, Genius
Career: Astronaut
Your parent always told you to shoot for the stars, you just took it a bit too seriously. This world was always a bit too pedestrian for you and you yearn to finally lay your eyes on the astronomical craters of Sixam. There's just one problem: you're terrible at it. It's not your fault, you're just a bit clumsy; but will your two left feet keep you from reaching your dreams?
Goals:
Work in the Astronaut Career your entire life. Get demoted and fired at least once in your lifetime.
Destroy and repair a rocket 3 times.
Live in a tiny home for your young adulthood and adulthood.
Have at least one set of twins. *You can cheat for this!*
Gen 4: The Finer Things in Life
Traits: Materialistic, Hates Children, Lazy
Career: None
You've seen all the generations before you work their little pixelated butts off for every simoleon, but you're not about that life. You were destined for the finer things in life.
Goals
Reach level 10 of the Charisma and Mixology Skills.
Marry and survive 5 spouses. Take that wording however you want. Divorce is not allowed. You must be the last once standing. After all, spouses are like infinity stones. Meaningless.
Never have a job. Only make money from spouses, family, or children. If you get desperate enough you can ask a friend for a loan or steal, but no working of any kind.
Each child you decide to have with one of your rich spouses comes with a 20k trust fund. If they get taken away or die before coming of age, all the money has to be returned to the evil capitalist overlords. You can't get rid of them that easily.
Own at least 1 restaurant/ retail/ business with one of your spouses. Decorate it, assign the uniform, and hire everyone, but you never run it. Why would you go through the trouble?
Gen 5: My Precious
Traits: Art Lover, Kleptomaniac, Self-Assured
Career: Criminal
Your childhood was pretty hectic and you felt like you barely knew your parents. Who needs them? You've never needed anyone else anyway. On your 18th birthday, you receive your inheritance and use it to buy yourself an unfurnished apartment in the nicest building you can find and that's when your money runs out... literally. However, will a new job as a tough guy be the first of many great ideas or will it only be the beginning of the end for this famed family?
Goals
Once you become a young adult give yourself enough money to buy one of the apartments in the Uptown Neighborhood in San Myshuno. It must be unfurnished. After moving in set your money to 0 simoleons.
Complete the Criminal Career.
Reach level 10 of the Mischief and Dancing Skills.
Gain an atrocious reputation and spend the rest of your life trying to cover it up.
Steal 10 paintings from a museum and exhibit them proudly in your home. You are never allowed to sell them. As an adult, hide them in a secret attic nobody else has access to or knows about. They are your precious.
Gen 6: The Muses
Traits: Creative, Family Oriented, Insider
Career: Painter
You could have anything you wanted in the world thanks to your family's empire so you pursued your passion: painting. While you were never close to your other family members you were always very close to your art teacher. This led you to have very close ties to your friends, co-workers, and eventual children. Will your legacy remain for longer in the memory of strangers or your loved ones?
Goals
Complete the Painter Career
Reach level 10 of the Painting, Cooking and Baking Skills
Have a better relationship with your art teacher than anyone else in your family until you're a teen.
Move to a new world once you become a young adult and cut ties with your family.
Be the leader of one club for all your young adulthood and adulthood.
Be close friends with 3 co-workers and all of your children.
Prepare a meal at least once a week with the help of your children. *I know we don't have this in the game yet technically, but I'm hoping to have Cottage Living by the time I play with this generation*
Hang 5 paintings in a museum.
Retire from Painting Career to help care for your grandchildren.
Gen 7: Mole
Traits: Good, Perfectionist, Paranoid
Career: None
You always had a good relationship with your parents. You told each other everything... well, almost everything. You never understood why but one of your parents never talked about the rest of your family members. They explained that they simply never had a good relationship and would rather not talk about it. You respect this until their death when you return to their seemingly abandoned childhood home. While exploring the house you find a not-so-subtle bookcase door and a long forgotten attic filled with paintings. You take them in hopes of returning them but unbeknownst to you, you are being watched.
After an unfortunately unavailable nail-biting car chase, you shake off your attackers. You can't just lead them home to the rest of your family and what would the police do? They don't even arrest Vlad when he's trying to bite all of your sims!
Sorry, different rant.
So you do the only logical thing: you sell the paintings you just stole for some cash to buy an empty lot and skip town. A new life awaits you... just a bit underground.
Goals
Reach level 10 of the Writing, Logic, and Handiness Skills.
Complete the Best Selling Author Aspiration.
After your parent dies, you visit Gen 5's main home and retrieve the paintings hidden in the attic generations ago. Sell them and use the money to buy an empty lot in a completely different world.
Use your remaining money to build a small underground bunker. You can now never leave your bunker or risk immediate death.
You make your income by writing books under your new name. Oh, didn't I mention that? You changed your name to avoid detection. Your children may carry this new fake last name or your partner's.
Gen 8: Part of Your World
Traits: Loves Outdoors, Outgoing, Geek
Career: Social Media
All you knew was the bunker and it's not that you hated it, you just wanted a bit more. You're basically the little mermaid, except you don't get to be a mermaid. You just get a bunker you can never leave and a desperate yearning to explore the outside world.
Your outlet is the internet. From a young age you loved using it to play video games and make friends. As a teen you began to make videos and fostered a community online. Will you finally take your place in the world or remain hidden underground?
Goals
Reach level 10 of the Media Production and Video Gaming Skills
Complete the Social Media Career.
You're never allowed to leave the underground bunker until you're a teen.
You aren't allowed to go to school. Instead you play video games and use your computer for outside interaction.
As a teen you start developing your online presence by posting on social media and making videos on the video station.
You are only allowed to move out of the household once your parent dies and you have enough money in reserves to buy a furnished home.
Gen 9: Natural Born Performer
Traits: Gloomy, Unflirty, Adventurous
Career: Entertainment (Comedy Branch)
Due to your parent's fame, it was always expected you would follow in their footsteps. While a bit more gloomy than most, you are happiest when you make others laugh. So you join the Entertainer Career where you flourish as a comedian. You're also a bit unlucky in love. Will the family name's fame and your own notoriety keep you from finding true love or are you destined to a lifetime of gold diggers and one night stands?
Goals
Complete the Entertainer Career (Comedy Branch).
Reach level 10 of the Comedy and Rock Climbing skills.
Complete Serial Romantic Aspiration
Have four children.
Die suddenly and *mysteriously* in your adulthood.
Gen 10: A Grand Finale
Traits: Kleptomaniac, Ambitious, Perfectionist
Career: Actor
After losing your parents at a very young age, you and your siblings were sent to live with some distant relatives you didn't even know about. While you and your siblings are all very different and you bicker plenty, you always stick together.
After learning you are a descendant of some of the most famous and infamous sims in history, you are determined to meet and surpass their achievements. Will you come out on top or have you flown too close to the sun?
Goals
Complete the Actor Career
Achieve level 10 of 10 skills of your choosing.
Become a Global Superstar.
Get a star on Starlight Boulevard.
Throughout your lifetime you must go on vacation to every house you lived in throughout all previous 9 generations. Oh, and your three other siblings need to come along too. Think of it as Narnia meets It. Also make sure to steal something from each of the houses as a souvenir and display it proudly in your own home.
After you've completed all the things above, get turned into a vampire and choose to end your mortal legacy here... or start a whole new type all together.
Thank you so much for indulging me in this insanity. While I haven't played through any of these generations myself as of yet, I look forward to see the chaos and cuteness possible in The Sims.
Happy simming!

First Lines Of Your Last 20 Fics!
Rules: List the first lines of your last 20 stories (if you have less than 20, just list them all!). See if there are any patterns. Choose your favourite opening line. Then tag 10 of your favourite authors!
Tagged by the incredible @ladymatt ❤️ my personal hero and one of my parabatri.
Most of mine are *old* but I just finished the WIP i had been hanging over my head for 6 years so I am determined I can get back to all of these.
1) Eyes of the Beholder (E, Malec: All Human AU/Nude Model AU)
Magnus spots the sketchbook as he ducks out from behind the decorative screen that doubles as a change room.
2). Someone to Believe In (T, Nell Jones/Eric Beale NCISLA: Undercover Mission, Kid fic)
"Didn't you ever wish that there'd been an error? That someone would walk into your classroom and say ‘Sorry, there'd been a mistake! Nell’s not meant to be in this grade but the one down the hall, with the kids two or three grades up’ that you belonged, not with the people who were technically your own age but with all the other kids who were doing the same work as you…”
3). Yours, Mine (M, Alternate Malec: This World Is Inverted AU)
”Kidnapping someone is a lot of effort, a lot of planning and resources,” Alec said almost lazily as he propped himself up against the cold wall.
4). My Last and Only Hope (T Malec: The Martian AU)
Alec knew he was taking a risk just turning up at Bane Industries and demanding an interview with Magnus Bane himself.
5). You Want Me To Teach What?! (T, Malec: Teachers AU)
Alec was sitting in his office eating lunch and chatting to Izzy about what they had planned for the Christmas break when they were interrupted by a timid knock at the door.
6) This Christmas (T, Malec: Human AU, Christmas Fic)
“Are you sure Alec won’t mind?” Magnus asked for what had to be the fourth time that morning as he followed Izzy inside the apartment she and Alec shared.
7). With The World Watching (G, Malec: Human AU, Wedding Dances)
Alec isn’t really paying attention when Lydia throws the bouquet.
8). Dutch Courage (T, Jimon: Human AU, Mutual Pining)
When Simon gets back to his apartment after what is possibly the longest day of his entire life, he’s focused on just one thing.
9). Hold and Release (T, Malec: Human AU, Yoga AU)
Maybe his mother was right, Alec mused as he matched his breath to his movements, maybe this is exactly what he needs to get his priorities sorted.
10). Stand By You (G, Malec: Missing Scene, Parabatai feels)
When Alec walked into the living room he was surprised to see Magnus standing at the drink cart tossing back a glass of whisky.
11), I found God but it wasn't supposed to be (T, Malec: Soulmate AU, Winged!Alec)
“It remains our primary mission, above all else, to locate God. Remember, this incarnation may take any human form - irrespective of race, age, and gender.”
12). Melt My Heart with Snow (T, Malec: Canon Compliant, Snow Play)
“Really?! Already?! Surely it’s too early,” Alec groaned.
13). I want to show you the world (T, Clizzy: snow joy/Christmas)
Clary had gotten up early so that she was already in the training room when Alec walked in.
14). Play Me Like a Choir (M, Malec: Magnus & Simon Friendship, Learning a musical instrument)
Sleeping during the day was still a work in progress.
15). Orphans & Bassinets (G, Malec: Kid fic)
It’d been a really long day, so when Magnus’ phone rang he really wanted to banish it to some alternate universe where no clingy and obsessive clients would ever be able to find it.
16). I’ll Wear My Heart On my Sleeve Tonight (T, Malec: Pride, Spirit Day)
[from: Alexander 3:04PM] I have something I really want to do tonight and I’m really hoping you’re free because I want to do it with you.
17). Malphabet (G-M, Malec: A-Z ficlets)
That was all it took. A single arrow fired by an incredibly hot archer and Magnus was hooked.
18). My Precious Cinnamon Roll (T, Malec: Alec Bakes)
Trudging up the stairs to his loft at 3am was definitely not part of his plan for a relaxing night curled up on the couch with Alec after his late patrol ended at midnight.
19). Heirlooms & Rattles (G, Malec: Magnus babysat Alec as a Child)
“Magnus are you sure the amethyst scarab of that Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh -” Alec began.
20). The Tie that Binds and Breaks Us (G, Alec Introspection, Clizzy, one-sided Jace/Alec, future potential Malec)
“Jace, listen to me!”
Clary. Why was it always Clary who was one step ahead of him?
Patterns:
I start stories in the middle of conversations about 40% of the time.
I have a *thing* for improving the outcome of characters who’ve had long days.
Tagging (should you want to) @magnusbae, @aceon-ice , @apathyinreverie , @arialerendeair , @to-the-stars-writing

Previous 8: He Gets Found Out (and a Phone Call)
Tumblr media
The sky was blue and clear, not a single cloud in sight. The summer sun beat down on your back as you leaned over your work in the middle of the clearing. Your hands moved fast, your tongue was held in between your teeth as you concentrated, your brows knit together, and you focused. The world, the clearing, and the trees surrounding you melted away as you worked. Only your project mattered.
You spun something out of nothing, twirling your tiny, childish hands around the small, abnormally shaped ball that hovered midair. Red flowed from your palms, gravitating towards the center of your creation, and it stuck wherever it landed. It solidified as it hit the surface, adding to the shiny jewel that was forming in your hands. The gem was see-through, completely clear, but a satisfying shade of red that you loved. A small smile danced across your lips. Your mother was going to love this.
When it was finally the size of a small pebble, you stopped revolving your hands around your creation and instead brought them together in a cup beneath it. The red object fell through the air, landing in your palm.
You beamed down at it before standing, hiking up the skirt of your white chiton, and running over to the woman who was seated on a large rock at the edge of the clearing and was watching you with an amused gaze.
She was beautiful, perfect, the very definition of grace. Her rich dark hair was braided with gold and jewels (most of which you had created for her) and cascaded down her shoulder, coming to rest right above her heart. A gold chiton hung loosely from the titaness’ shoulders, covering her body while leaving her arms, shoulders, and collar bones out for the sun to kiss.
You scampered over to her as fast as your little legs would take you, holding the red stone out in front of you. “Mama!” you cried, your young voice filling the air. “Mama, look! I made another one.” You stopped at her feet and held it up.
Rhea smiled down at you and took the jewel from you. “So lovely, my darling,” she mused, holding it up to the light and gazing through it. The sun streamed through the jewel, casting a pink glow on her tanned skin. Her smile widened. “Wow! It’s clear all the way through.”
“I think it’s prettier like that, don’t you? It makes your face change colors!”
“So it does.” She closed her fingers around the jewel and pulled her braid closer to her. Her fingers worked to tuck it into the braid with the others. “Thank you, little one. It is beautiful.”
You bit your lip to hide your smile and sat cross-legged at her feet. “You’re welcome, Mama.”
Her eyes trailed over the stones her dark braid. Most of them were red. “You seem to like making the red ones the most. They match your eyes.” She chuckled softly and turned her gaze to you. “Do you have a name for your creations?”
You nodded, a smile brightening your face. “I think I wanna call them rubies. I dunno why, it’s just a nice name for the red ones.”
Your mother hummed. “Well, be absolutely sure that that is what you want to call them. Once you give them their name, that will always be their name. They are your creation and what you say goes.”
You frowned up at her, your gaze curious and confused. “What do you mean, Mama; ‘what I say goes?’”
She grinned slyly like she knew something you didn’t—which she probably did. “Come with me, my child, and I shall show you.” She reached down and took your tiny hand in hers.
You stood up and walked with her.
She led you through the trees, stepping over fallen logs and helping you over them too. You didn’t know where she was taking you, but you didn’t care. You just loved spending time with your mother.
She was the best mother there was, always there to love you and hug you and squeeze you tight. She loved you, and you loved her.
Rhea guided you through the trees over to a new clearing, but this one wasn’t surrounded by trees. This one was a cliff that came to a point. She took you right up to the edge.
From up there, you could see a vast majority of the land that you lived in. You could see rolling hills taking over the whole area, with small dots nestled in the valleys and near the sea. Each dot was a village that held many people. You’d often sneak down to watch them
Your mother stopped you at the edge of the cliff and sat down, beckoning you to sit on her lap. “What do you see, my dear?”
You sat down on her thigh and leaned back into her chest. “I see people. It’s the Mortal World, right?”
“Yes. This is the land known as Sicily. And who lives there?”
“The mortals.”
“Very good. Now, you know that you are not a mortal. You’re an immortal, what the humans would call a god, or, in your case, a goddess.”
You turned your eyes up to her, sparkling with curiosity. “Are you a goddess, Mama?”
She laughed. “No. I am a titaness. I am older than the gods, but that’s not important.” She plucked one ruby from her hair and offered it to you. “Because you are a goddess, you get to control some aspects of the world. You are a goddess of wealth, and so these jewels that you create will be worth a lot. The names you give them will be used by mortals everywhere because they are yours. It is one of your powers, and more will develop as you grow older. It is a great responsibility to bear.”
You frowned. “But I’m just a kid.”
“You may have only aged seven years, my child, but you are still their god nonetheless, and they will worship you just the same.” She chuckled. “I know you will be a great goddess. You will go down in their stories as one of the greatest in history.”
You giggled. “I hope so, Mama. I wanna be a good goddess. Do you think the mortals will like me?”
“It is hard to tell, my child. But so long as you stay just, benevolent, and fair, I’m sure they will.”
You opened your mouth to ask her something else, but you were stopped by a loud crash and the earth shaking. You shrieked as you fell off your mother’s lap, sprawling on the ground.
Your mother blanched and shot to her feet, staring at something in the distance. “(y/n), hide.”
“Mama, what—?”
“Go!” She grabbed you by your wrist and threw you towards the tree.
You obeyed, running into the trees to hide beneath one. Looking back out at the clearing, you saw your mother grow larger, her height soaring until she was giant. So tall, was the titan’s true form, that she towered above everything else, even mountains. When your mother was at her full height, you hardly came up to her big toe. She rarely used this form with you (unless you wanted to say hi to the birds) because you hated feeling small and insignificant. You’d only seen this form once or twice, and only when he came around.
You turned your head over your shoulder, almost too scared to look.
You could see him. He was always in his full size. You saw his monstrous form towering over everything, but you couldn’t make out any distinct features. He was all black. He marched towards your hiding spot and your mother, undoubtedly glaring.
“Kronos,” your mother purred, trying to mask the fear in her voice with seduction. “To what do I owe this pleasure, my darling husband?”
“You know why I’m here.” His deep voice thundered over the valley, startling birds out of their nests. “I want her.”
“Wh-Who?”
You frowned at the time, filled with confusion. You knew she knew he was talking about you, but you would later realize that she was trying to protect you.
“Our daughter,” he hissed. “She has been allowed to roam the earth too long. She should’ve been dealt with right after she was born. Instead I was soft and allowed you some time. Now I have come to collect. Give her to me.”
Your mother bit her lip and shook her head. “No! I can’t. She’s just a child.”
“A child who will destroy us.” His face was black, not a single feature was visible, but you could’ve sworn that his eyes flashed red. “Now give her to me! I know you have hidden her near. You never stray too far away from your precious child.” His head turned down, and you knew he was searching for you. His eyes pierced the very trees before you felt them settle on you. You could hear the smile in his voice as he cooed, “Found you.”
A black hand appeared out of nowhere, plucking you from your hiding spot by the back of your chiton.
You screamed as the ground disappeared from beneath your feet, twisting and turning in a struggle. All you could cry out was, “Father! No! Please, no!”
“Kronos! Let her go! She’s just a child!” your mother wailed, suddenly at his side and clinging onto her husband’s arm as she tried to wrench you from his grip. You could see the fear for your life in her eyes.
He sneered down at her, his eyes turning red with agitation. “She won’t be a child for long. I must contain her while I can.” Then, with a swift motion, he yanked his arm out of Rhea’s grasp, causing her to fall to the ground, and opened his mouth, bringing you closer and closer to his lips.
With a sickening drop of your stomach, you knew—in your young, tiny heart—you knew what he was about to do. You screamed as you panicked. “Father, please! I don’t wanna go in there! I’ll be good! I’ll be a good girl! Just please don’t.”
His mouth didn’t move, but you could hear his voice clear as day in your head. “I’m sorry, little one. But I have no choice. I cannot kill you, so I must contain you.”
You continued to approach his mouth and you were starting to grow frantic. “Father! Please! Don’t!” Tears were rolling down your cheeks as you struggled and writhed, but your efforts were fruitless. He didn’t stop. “Father!” you tried again, begging him to spare you. “I’ll be good! I’ll be a good god! Just, please! Father! Dad! Daddy, please!”
But he only brought you closer to his mouth until you were hovering right over the opening. And, before you knew it, you were falling. He had dropped you and the wind was soaring past your ears. The fleshy pink of his gullet encompassed your vision, covering more and more of what you could see until there was no light left. As you plunged into the darkness, you could hear only two things: the sounds of your mother’s wailing, and your own screams of pure terror as you fell down, down, down—into the pit of your father’s stomach.
———
“NO!”
You sat bolt upright in your bed, the sheets clinging to your body with a cold sweat. Your chest rose and fell rapidly with shallow panting and your panicked eyes darted all around you. It was black, just as black as your prison.
“Light!” you summoned, holding out your hand. A scarlet fire erupted over your palm, casting a dim glow over the room. You waved your hand all over, shining light on the furniture that made up your bedroom. It took you a good moment to realize that you were at your own home rather than in your father’s stomach, and when the realization finally settled on you, you were only slightly less panicked than you had been.
Releasing the ball of red fire to drift around the room, you threw the covers off of your body and began to pace the hardwood floors. Your sports bra and sleep shorts were damp with your own sweat, and the night air hitting your skin made you shiver, but you didn’t care. Your mind was elsewhere.
He’s not here. He can’t hurt you anymore. He’s in Tartarus. He’s locked up. You’re safe.
But you didn’t believe the thoughts one bit.
You still felt like you were falling. You could still feel the wind rushing past you. You could still hear the screams—your screams.
Your chest grew tight, like a hand was crushing your heart. You winced at the pain, trying to push it deep down.
You shoved your fingers through your hair, taking a fistful and tugging. The dull pain usually helped you focus in on reality, but this time it seemed to do nothing. You were still trembling, and you had no hope of calming down on your own.
You needed something alive. Cerberus was out of the question because he was on his shift guarding the borders. Peggy was also out because she was there too. You needed someone else; someone to talk you down, someone to tell you what your mind was already saying.
Brock, of course, was the first person you immediately thought of, but upon further deliberation, he probably wasn’t the best choice. He didn’t like it when you were too emotional. He was always awkward and stiff around you when you tried to talk to him about your past or about your nightmares. He hated it.
You pulled harder at your hair, the squeezing in your chest only tightening and crushing your heart.
You needed someone who could listen and make you feel better. You needed someone who could be trusted with the more sensitive side of you. You needed—
You stopped dead in your tracks. Your head turned slowly towards your phone, which was sitting dark on your nightstand. You had his number, he’d said that you could call him anytime you needed. Well, if there was ever a time you needed him, it was now.
Your feet were moving before you knew it, and you were unlocking your phone and pulling up Bucky’s contact just as quick. You pressed “call” and held the phone up to your ear.
As you heard the dial tone, you had to wonder: was Bucky even still up? Were you disturbing his sleep or was he still awake? Would he be bothered—
“Hello?”
His voice snapped you out of your thoughts and your jaw went slack. Holy shit, he’d actually answered.
Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck; what the fuck do you say? “Hey, Buck. It’s (y/n). You know, the scary Queen of the Underworld? Yeah, listen. I just had a nightmare and I’m acting like a toddler and need you to calm me down.” That was laughable and pathetic. This whole situation was pathetic. You should’ve just hung up and called it a night, but your heart wouldn’t let you.
“Hello?” he called again, his voice teeming with worry.
You swallowed the lump in your throat and whispered, “B-Bucky?”
You could hear shuffling on the other end of the line. “(y/n)? What’s wrong? Are you okay? Are you hurt?” He was definitely concerned now, and—although you felt bad for making him worry—it was comforting to know he cared.
You shoved your hand through your hair again and squeezed your eyes shut as you sat down on your bed. You could still see the faint red of the fire floating around behind your eyelids, but it was little comfort. Your voice trembled as you stuttered, “I-I…” You mentally cursed yourself. You couldn’t even form a damn sentence in your frazzled state.
“It’s alright, Doll. I’m here now,” Bucky soothed, trying to coax you into speaking. “Use your words. What’s wrong? What do you need?”
“I… I need you.” Admitting your need was crushing and you could feel your muscles stiffening as the severity of the fear inflicted by the nightmare finally dawned on you. It felt like your whole body was atrophying like you were turning to stone. Within moments, you would be frozen in place as the panic truly set in.
“I’m on my way.” The line went dead as he hung up, plunging you back into the silence of your mind.
You couldn’t tell if it was better or worse to be in the quiet room, but the only real comfort you had was that Bucky was coming.
And, sure enough, you heard rumbling overhead—the telltale sign that signaled the ceiling of the chasm opening up above you. A loud thud resonated outside your house; something heavy had just fallen into the Asphodel Meadows. You were so frozen on your bed that you couldn’t even make yourself stand up to go to the window to see if it was him. You could hear footsteps running across the fields, growing closer until they were right outside your door. From there, the front door opened and you could hear footsteps bounding into the entryway before coming to a stop. It only then dawned on you that Bucky had never been in your home and that he probably wouldn’t know where your room was. You wanted to yell for him, scream his name, something, but your voice was locked in a cage at the base of your throat. You wanted to stomp on the ground, jump up and down, to do anything, but you were stone. You could not move.
The footsteps began to move again downstairs and you heard him shuffling around.
Find the staircase, Bucky.
You prayed to any higher being there was that he would find you, you needed him so badly.
Please, Buck. It’s right by the door. I know it’s dark, but you can find it. Right up the stairs. My room is the whole floor. Please. Please hurry.
As if listening to your silent directions, the footsteps neared the staircase and began to mount them. You could tell he was on his way up because you heard the creak of the fifth step up. No matter where you stepped, it always creaked. The thudding grew louder as he grew closer until he finally reached the door. That too creaked open as he moved it ever so slightly, and he called out in a quiet, careful voice, “(y/n)?”
You would’ve sobbed with relief if you could but the lump in your throat was still preventing you from speaking.
He began to enter the room, rounding the wall that separated your sleeping area from the rest of your chambers. When he saw you, he called your name again. Receiving no answer, he began to approach you as one would an easily startled animal.
Which, if you were honest, you probably were at that moment.
He continued to walk towards you until he was right at your side. “(y/n)?” he said again, his voice gentle, comforting, loving. He sat down next to you and the mattress dipped with his weight. “(y/n), I’m here. It’s me. Bucky. I’m here. It’s okay; you’re safe now.” He hesitantly reached out and placed his hand on your shoulder.
You flinched at the unexpected contact and your head snapped to the side to look at him, your eyes undoubtedly wild with the fear from the nightmare.
He didn’t jump at your sudden moment but the worry in his eyes only increased.
You scanned his face, taking in every detail. It helped to ground you. His blue eyes seemed purple from the rouge light floating in the room and his skin had turned ghostly. His features were contorted with worry, confusion, and care. He cared about you, wanting to make sure you were okay. He’d dropped whatever he was doing just so he could rush to your side and make sure you were safe. It was the most that anyone had done for you in a long time.
You didn’t realize tears were streaming down your face until Bucky’s large hand cupped your cheek and his thumb wiped the liquid off your skin.
“It’s okay,” he murmured as his thumb traced small circles over your cheek. “It’s alright, I’m here now.”
At that, you broke.
Tears began rolling down your cheeks in an abundance, the torrent never ceasing. You sobbed, and you sobbed, and you sobbed. Silent screams escaped your mouth as you cried into Bucky’s shirt. Your tears soaked his shirt, but you didn’t care. The crying was relieving; you couldn’t remember the last time you just let it all out like this.
Bucky simply held you. His arms had wrapped around you at some point, and he pulled you close into a hug. You were sitting in his lap, his arms were holding you close, and his chin was resting on the top of your head. He was rocking you from side to side as a mother would her child, doing his best to comfort you.
You were surprised at how well it was working. Normally, it would take you hours to calm down, but, with Bucky—with whom you’d only spent a handful of blissful evenings—it was mere minutes.
Soon you were just sitting there, sniffling in his arms.
He pet your hair and continued to rock you, mumbling, “Shhh. It’s okay. You’re okay.”
You nodded your head, pulling away from him just enough to peer up at his face. “I’m sorry,” you whispered.
His eyes narrowed at you and his head cocked to the side. “What for?”
“For bothering you.” You dragged the back of your hand across your nose. “And for crying all over you. You shouldn’t have seen me like that.”
“Like what?”
You couldn’t believe he was making you spell it out. “Like a mess. I’m a queen. I’m supposed to be calm and collected and I was sobbing like a baby.” You shook your head with a bitter laugh. “I’m pathetic.”
“No, you’re human.” Bucky brought his hand up under your chin and lifted your head so you were looking at him. “It’s normal to cry and feel sad. It’s normal to be scared. No one is immune to it, not even the badass Queen of the Underworld. Everyone is scared of something.” He tilted his head to the side, his lips quirking up into a gentle smile. “Don’t ever be afraid to be afraid around me, okay?”
“Okay.”
“Good.” He shifted so you were closer to him on his lap.
Your head once more fit right under his chin. With your ear pressed to his chest, you could hear the faint beating of his heart and you couldn’t help but dwell on how nice this was.
You never got this with Brock. Tender touches didn’t seem to be a part of his vocabulary. But, with Bucky, this felt natural and good. You felt safe in his arms and that was nice.
Bucky allowed you to sit in the silence a bit longer before finally asking, “Do you wanna talk about it?”
You hesitated. “Mmm, kind of do, kind of don’t.”
“Which ‘kind of’ is winning?”
Your lips formed a tight line. “Kind of do,” you answered truthfully because you did want to talk about it. Your family had begged you to talk about it for years, insisting that it could help you cope. “It’s therapeutic,” your youngest sister had said. “Mortals do it all the time. Talking about your trauma helps reduce it.”
“I’m not traumatized,” you’d insisted.
But you both knew that was a lie; the nightmares were living proof that your childhood had impacted you in a big and not-so-good way.
Bucky glanced down at you, his own lips forming their own line. “I can listen if you want to talk it out. I’m good at that.”
You breathed a chuckle. “I bet you are.” Letting out a heavy sigh, you peeled yourself out of Bucky’s arms and moved so you were sitting cross-legged on your bed. “You might as well get comfortable; it’s a long-ass story.”
He hardly moved. “I’m ready.”
You bit your lip and nodded. “Alright.” Pausing to take a deep breath, you began with, “My childhood was fucked.”
He snorted.
“Hey, don’t laugh!” You crossed your arms and hunched over in a pout. “I’m trying to share something deeply personal here.”
“I know! I know! I’m sorry. Just, you were so blunt. I was expecting some sort of build up, but you just came out with that and I… I know I shouldn’t laugh, but I couldn’t help it.”
You tried your damnedest to fight the smile that was rising on your own lips, but you failed miserably and found yourself smiling with him. “Get yourself together, Buck. I’m serious here. My childhood definitely falls in one of the bottom three childhoods of all time. The… The myths got it mostly right, but they were always hazy on the details. They said that my father, Kronos, ate me right after I was born; they were wrong.” You lifted your eyes to the ball of red light that was still dancing around your room. “I was seven. Old enough to have some experience, old enough to know that I had parents and that I loved them, but not old enough to understand why my father didn’t love me back. My mother never let me around him; she said he was a bad man. I didn’t understand. How could someone I love be bad? My seven-year-old brain was just barely comprehending the fact that I was going to live forever, I had no ability to process just how bad my father was.
“I knew that he was my father in the way that I knew my mother was my mother. I knew that he was someone important to me, and that I loved him and wanted to please him and make him proud. So, every day, I did my best to be a good kid, to be something he could be proud of. I thought that could make him love me.” You hung your head in shame. “But, no matter what I did, it wasn’t good enough. I didn’t understand why he ate me. I didn’t understand why he hated me so much as to try and kill me. I didn’t know what I did to deserve living in isolation for over a decade in his stomach. There is nothing quite like being totally on your own, Bucky; to not know what you did wrong but to be punished anyway. It does things to your mind and I…”
“You still dream about it, don’t you?” he asked softly. “That’s why you were so scared.”
You nodded. “Yeah. I relived the whole thing again. I’m a grown woman, with more than two thousand years of experience, and I still get spooked by nightmares.”
“Everyone is scared by something,” he murmured. “Your thing is what happened to you in your past.”
“Yeah…” You took a deep breath and pulled your knees up to your chest.
Bucky looked at you, his eyes scanning over your face. Suddenly he stood and rounded the bed to your side. “Come on; let’s go.”
You blinked at him. “I beg your pardon?”
“Come on!” He offered you his hand. “We’re going out. It’s the best remedy for a nightmare. You get to go around and do things and forget all about the bad dreams.” His smile was warm and filled with promise.
“Where are we going?”
“It’s a secret but,” grinning down at you, he held his hand out further, “do you trust me?”
You stared at his outstretched hand, a small flame igniting inside your chest at the prospect of adventure, and you took it. “I do.”

Day 2
10 Days (Jumin Han x Reader)
You didn't expect to find yourself locked in an engagement to Chairman Han, but with your own mother forcing you into it, you have no way of denying her. But as time continues and things change, you begin to develop affections for your fiance's son: Jumin Han. But the sad truth is that there's nothing either of you can do to stop the marriage, and you only have these 10 days before your future becomes reality. 10 days with Jumin Han.
Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3 | Day 4 | Day 5 | Day 6 | Day 7 | Day 8 | Day 9 | Day 10 | ✔
MASTERLIST
By the time dinner is concluded and you're finally at Jumin's penthouse, it's well past midnight.
Still a child used to her normal daily routine, it takes all your effort to keep your eyes open, with your body relaxed from the wine and your mind tired from trying not to further aggravate Jumin.
"I'll show you the guest room in a moment," Jumin says stiffly. "Just wait on the couch for a moment while I make sure that it's been properly set up."
With that, he leaves.
You waste no time in flopping onto his couch, not caring about your dress wrinkling. I'll just lie down for a moment until Jumin comes back, you tell yourself, kicking your heels onto the floor and resting your head on the armrest.
For the next thirty seconds, you really do attempt everything in your power to stay awake. You try to think about the engagement, your mother, even Jumin himself, but for some reason, you can't bring yourself to care about anything when the pull of Hypnos grows stronger.
Vaguely, you recognize the sound of someone saying your name. Is that Chairman Han? You wonder, before realizing that this man's voice has a slightly different cadence to it: softer, deeper, and gentler.
But even that thought takes too much energy and you fall asleep to the feeling of a soft blanket being wrapped around you, utterly unaware of the sighing man watching you.
Sleep is surprisingly blissful on that couch.
When you wake up, half of you is still in the dreamworld, and the morning drowsiness hits you harder than usual.
It takes you a minute to remember where you are, why you fell asleep on a couch, and whose apartment you're in. Right, you think with a grimace. I'm with Jumin.
It barely takes a single glance around the apartment for you to now realize what your mind had been too exhausted to register yesterday: this entire penthouse is suspiciously familiar. You pull yourself off the couch, wondering why, and it's only when you see the full-glass wall to the left of you that you remember.
After all, how could you ever forget such a view?
You stand up from the couch, wrapping your blanket further around your body as you walk over to the windowed wall. From such a high distance, the people walking around in Seoul are nothing more than colored spots, the cars they're driving just ants carrying them here and there.
You saw this very same view nearly a decade ago, when you'd visited the home of a classmate for a group project. Jumin must have purchased this within the past few years.
A soft smile blooms on your lips at the memory of your past.
Back then you'd been so innocent and carefree, never realizing that one day your mother would marry you off to a man older than even your adoptive father.
But this is the life I've been given, so there's no point in brooding about it, eh? You tell yourself, resolving to be strong.
You force yourself away from the window. There's no point in reminiscing over the past. The fact that you're even in Jumin Han's penthouse is a testimony to your need to prepare yourself for the future.
You make your way to the guest bathroom, sliding the door open. Relief floods you when you find that Jumin has left you everything you could possibly need: a fresh change of clothes, toiletries, and what looks like a professional-grade makeup kit.
You look at the various foundations suspiciously before deciding not to use any of them, uncomfortable with using a brand of makeup your skin isn't used to. Besides, you think while gazing at your skin in the mirror. It's not like I need to impress Jumin.
You shower and change into the clothes you'd been left, pleasantly finding that they were just loose enough to make you look comfortable but still cute. Alright, you think, smiling at your reflection. Let's get some breakfast.
But by the time you've maneuvered your way to the kitchen, you're shocked to find that Jumin is already there.
"What's this?" You muse out loud, grabbing his attention. "Jumin Han making breakfast? Never did I think I'd see the day."
The man in front of you averts his eyes, going back to frying the omelet in his pan. "The chef called in sick. His usual replacement is apparently on vacation."
You let out a light chuckle before taking the cooking spatula from Jumin's hand. "You have to use oil if you want the egg to cook properly."
He doesn't respond while you turn the electric stove off, and you can't suppress your laughter at the executive director's inability to do something simple as cooking eggs. "You really haven't changed, have you?"
"I haven't, but you certainly have." Jumin looks away, not meeting your eyes, killing your mirth in an instant.
"Jumin...I'm marrying your father because I love him. There's no ulterior motive, nothing else to it." You try to get Jumin to look you in the eyes, but his gaze is locked on the ruined eggs.
"My father might love you, but you don't love him," Jumin mutters, glaring. "I haven't figured out what your angle is, but I won't be fooled. Go, your phone is ringing."
You turn around and, sure enough, your phone's screen is lit up with the bright contact picture of Chairman Han. You pick up the phone and turn your body away from Jumin so that he can't see the grimace on your face as you speak to your fiancé.
"Hi dear," You say with fake excitement. "How are you?"
"Horrible, (Y/N)," Chairman Han says from the other line. "The Director of International Communications was right...this whole situation is too high-level for me to discuss over the phone. But C&R will be in huge trouble if I don't stay here and sort this out. I'm sorry, my love, but you'll need to stay with Jumin for a few more nights."
"I see," You say, tone flat. You don't know whether you should be excited at the prospect of a few more days without Chairman Han's presence or terrified of how Jumin will behave with you.
As if he were hearing your internal thoughts, though, Chairman Han asks, "Is my son treating you well?"
You swallow nervously, well-aware that you can only say one thing. "Of course. Jumin's been very good to me."
Chairman Han sighs. "Good. I'm sorry, sweetling, but I have to go now. I'll call you tomorrow, alright? Until then, goodbye."
The man pauses, before adding: "I love you, (Y/N)."
You swallow. There's only one thing for you to say. "I love you, too."
From behind you, Jumin scoffs.
When you've hung up, you turn to him once more. "Looks like I'll be staying with you a couple more nights."
But if Jumin heard you, he makes no indication of such. "I'm going to work."
"It's Sunday."
"I'd rather be at an empty C&R building than with a liar like you. Deceive my father you might, but I won't fall for your tricks."
"Jumin..." You trail off, trying not to be insulted by his words.
But before you can say anything more, he's grabbed an umbrella and is out the door, leaving only you in his lonely, lonely apartment.
Or at least, that's what you thought half an hour ago, before you met his adorable cat.
She now lies curled in your lap, licking her paw daintily while you try not to squeal from how precious she is. Your fiancé had ranted half a hundred times to you about how his son obsessed over his cat: Elizabeth the Third. (Or is it the Fourth? You can't remember.) When you first heard about it, you'd scoffed and dismissed the notion of any animal being so mesmerizing, but now that Elizabeth is actually in your lap, it's hard not to fall in love with her.
Stroking her head delicately, you can't help but sigh. "Why won't Jumin accept me as easily as you, Elizabeth?"
A part of you almost waits for the cat to respond, before you realize what you're doing. Sighing, you turn to your phone and check your texts. No messages from Mother, nothing from Chairman Han, and...who else would text you? Jumin doesn't even have your number.
You groan, hating how he stormed out. But curse as you might, you know that there's nothing you can do about his prejudice against you.
Objectively speaking, he's in the wrong. You gain nothing from this marriage with Chairman Han. BC-Sonic is on a steady rise, and will soon be as large as C&R; your family is wealthy enough that a divorce settlement would be useless; and Chairman Han can't give you anything you don't already have.
But then, when one considers the more delicate nuances behind the marriage, it feels like Jumin has the truth of it.
You don't love Chairman Han, though you've managed to get the older man to fall in love with you.
But maybe that's okay.
Because Chairman Han will be happy with you by his side. You're a good actor, you'll live the rest of your life pretending to reciprocate his affections...and you'll give him true happiness. You've spent your whole life trying to be the perfect daughter, and now all your efforts will turn to being the perfect wife.
So Jumin has no reason for complaint.
If anything, his father benefits most from this marriage, by wedding a youthful and beautiful woman who's long captured the heart of the media.
I should be the one protesting this, You tell yourself, before remembering why you hadn't. It's not like I have a choice, you remember, thinking of your mother. In a roundabout way, this marriage would also bring you happiness. It'll free me of Mother.
You massage your thigh, images of growing up flashing through your mind, before you shake your head.
It's not good to dwell on the past. As soon as your marriage with Chairman Han is complete, you'll leave those memories in the past.
Forever.
You stare at your phone once more, hesitating before typing in C&R's name into the search engine. Part of you hoped that there would be some word of the 'huge trouble' Chairman Han had said his company was in, but somehow the media has yet to catch wind of the situation.
That's a good thing, though. If C&R's stock drops, then Chairman Han will want to advance the wedding date to connect our companies as quickly as possible.
You tap the search bar again, and this time enter: Jumin Han. Your idea was strange, and a little unrealistic, but it might give you some information as to where Jumin went. Surely he didn't actually go to C&R.
The page loads and sure enough, a low-credited media outlet has already released an article about Jumin Han: Shopping Adventure?!?! as of thirty minutes ago. At the top of the page, there's a picture of him holding a bag from some store you vaguely recognize, and he's in the same suit and umbrella as when he left the house. Never doubt the media, you tell yourself, mildly amused at how they managed to make a full article about something as mundane as a rich man shopping.
On the bright side, though, you at least know that Jumin is safe and accounted for. You make a mental reminder to ask for his phone number when he returns. Next time, you doubt there'll be an article online detailing his whereabouts.
But as minutes stretch into hours, and morning turns into evening, you realize, with fear, that Jumin might not be coming back. After cleaning the dish you had used to give Elizabeth dinner, you glance at the door hesitantly, as if staring longer will make Jumin walk through the door.
Sadly, it doesn't work.
You glance at your phone once more, now worried. You could call Chairman Han and ask him for his son's phone number...but no, you don't want any reason to talk with him now. You've already been sentenced to spend the rest of your life with the man, you'll enjoy this brief freedom from him as much as you can.
So who should you call...?
You have few acquaintances in this strange city of Seoul, never having been here for any purpose except business. There was always that one man...but you don't even know where he lives, much less if he's still at his old number.
Still, it's worth a shot.
You dial in the number you'd saved to your contacts so many years ago, wondering this was a lost cause. To your surprise, the man on the other line picks up instantly. "(F/N) (L/N)?" The man asks. "I've been waiting for you to call for the past four years! Are you here to chat, or are you finally going to cash in on one of those favors?"
"We can chat another time, Seven." You say, only knowing him by the hacker name he'd used when he first breached BC-Sonic's security system. "But right now, I have someone I need you to track down."
"Hm, I can do that. But I'll need you to narrow my search range down to at least the continent if you want an answer within the next twelve hours."
"How about if I tell you what city the person I'm looking for is in?"
On the other line, Seven laughs. "Sounds like you already know where they are, then. But yes, if you give me the city I can probably send you their exact address within the next ten minutes or so."
"That works."
"Good. Now, what's the name of the unfortunate soul that (F/N) (L/N) is hunting down?"
You sigh, frustrated that you're wasting a favor from one of the best hackers in the world to track down Jumin, but it can't be avoided.
"Jumin Han."
On the other line, the constant sound of typing from Seven's keyboard stops, and you can feel him shift all his attention to you. "(Y/N)..." He trails off, before continuing. "I'm sorry. He is one of the few people I cannot disclose private information on."
"Cannot or will not?" You ask, scowling. "Seven, you owe my company big-time for what you pulled when you breached our users' privacy. We've already suffered the backlash from the leak, but I did you a favor by not revealing your name to the public and you still attacked us two more times! You and I both know that all it takes is a public statement from me for your entire world to come crashing down, so save us both the trouble and find me Jumin Han!"
You bite your lip, hating that you had to resort to threatening the hacker, but it's nearing midnight and you need to know that Jumin is safe. It doesn't matter where he is, be it in a bar or a friend's home or even a strip club—you just need to know that he's safe.
On the other line, Seven sighs. "(Y/N), you and I both know that you're too good of a person to leak my information like that. We both know what would happen, and I doubt you want my blood on your hands. Besides, it would only bring back bad memories for BC-Sonic and the media would be reminded of the breach. Your company's stock would drop."
"And I'd bring it back up again," You respond, but you both know that your threat was meanignless as it was pathetic. "Alright, fine. Maybe I won't tell the media anything, but at least check that Jumin Han is safe, wherever he is. If you won't reveal his location to me, you must have some kind of allegiance to him, and he might be in danger right now."
"Why? Did he receive any threats?" Seven asks, voice serious.
Your cheeks flush in embarrassment when you realize that your concern for Jumin is baseless, only supported by the fact that it's late and he has yet to come home...but the worry in your stomach is too strong for you to ignore. "I just..He left without saying anything. I thought I saw an article that said he was going shopping, but if that were the case he should have returned hours ago. I'm just worried because...because..."
Seven finishes your sentence for you.
"...Because he's going to be family?"
You swallow.
The one condition your parents had desired for your marriage with Chairman Han was that the media would receive no word of the engagement until the entire process was complete. It was to be completely secret until everything was finalized. But if Seven knows...
"D-Did the media find out?" You ask, terrified for the truth. You fear for yourself, remembering your mother's dark warning against any failure.
"Not quite..." Seven trails off. "Jumin sort of...told me."
You swallow.
What?!
And that is the precise moment that Jumin walks in through the door, leading the way for eight hired helpers who each carry two armfuls of shopping bags.
"I'll call you back," You tell Seven, before angrily turning to Jumin. "Where were you?!"
"Out," Is all he says, loosening his tie and pulling a wine glass from the cabinet while the rest of the helpers leave the room, leaving only you and the man of the hour himself.
"A call to the penthouse would have been appreciated," You mumble. "I was worried sick. And so was Elizabeth."
As soon as you mention the cat's name, she comes running into the room, purring as she nuzzles against your leg. Jumin looks down at her in surprise, before picking her up and placing her onto the table where he strokes her fur.
"I shouldn't need to inform you where I am. Remember, in this house, you're an intruder. You are welcome here because my father directly requested this of me, but you will never be welcome in this family."
Jumin looks like he was planning on saying more, but his phone begins buzzing from his pocket and he excuses himself to take the call. While he answers, you pour yourself a cup of wine and look at Elizabeth. She's already accepted you into the family, why does Jumin have to be so difficult?
"You called Luciel?" Jumin fumes at you when he returns. "You were going to have a hacker trace my whereabouts?"
You blink, not recognizing the name Luciel until you piece together that it must be Seven's real name. A strange name, you think, And probably another fake one, but it's information nonetheless.
"You had me worried, Jumin" You respond, voice low. You take another sip of wine, suddenly wishing that it were something stronger to give you the liquid courage you need to berate Jumin for his rudeness. "I was scared." That second part comes out in a whisper.
In front of you, the male seems taken aback by your sudden dejectedness. "I see," He says, though you can tell he wants to add more.
"We should exchange numbers, no?" You suggest, offering your phone to him so that he can enter his contact information. He doesn't repeat the gesture for you, but you don't think it matters, so long as you have his number.
A long silence follows, briefly interrupted only by Elizabeth's occasional purrs as Jumin rubs her head on the spot between her ears while you stroke her body. It's strange, but it's as if she's connecting the two of you, and healing all the seemingly unforgivable insults Jumin has labeled you with over the past two days.
"I'm tired," You tell him.
It's true, but you're not sure that he understands the full meaning behind the words.
There had been a day when you were excited about marrying Chairman Han, eager that the final piece in the puzzle of your life was going to be set in place. But then, you'd learned of his womanizing habits, his callous behavior, and his utterly banal taste.
You're tired.
You're tired of this engagement, but given that you have no choice in the matter and the fact that this engagement is your future, the truth is that you're tired of life. Tired of the life you've yet to even begin leading.
Still, it seems that Jumin picked up on some semblance of your meaning, and he sets down his wine glass. "I'd like to apologize, (Y/N)." He pauses, as if he were considering leaving it just at that, but finally continues. "I may have treated you...less fairly than you deserve."
An amused smile flits across your face. It wasn't an outright apology, still heavy with the implication that Jumin doesn't trust you, but it's progress.
"And how fairly do you think I deserve to be treated?" You ask, unable to hold the question back.
"I..." Jumin trails off. "I spoke with my father on the phone today. He...told me that your happiness was his happiness. I'm not foolish enough to believe that you love him, (Y/N), but if I mistreat you it will bring him pain. That's the only thing I wish to avoid."
You offer Jumin a light smile. "Jumin, if there's one thing I can promise you, it's that he will be happy with me. No matter what, he will feel loved."
"He will feel loved by you, but will he be loved by you?"
Your smile turns sour, and you think about the sad truth of life. "Is there truly a difference? He's happy regardless."
Jumin pauses, considering your words. Another moment of silence follows, and you almost stand up to go to bed, but the man finally speaks. "The difference is your happiness, (Y/N). Even if you're skilled enough to deceive my father into a false sense of happiness, what kind of life would you be leading?"
You swallow, trying your hardest to pretend as if you hadn't asked yourself the very same question this morning. Without any way to answer, you decide to use business tactics to respond. If you can't respond in a way that benefits the company, don't answer the question at all, your mother had once told you.
The same logic applies.
"We are in agreement that your father will be happy in this marriage. That is all that matters." To convey that this discussion is over, you stand up and announce that you'll be going to bed. It's not quite as late as it was when you'd arrived in Jumin's penthouse yesterday, but it's still well-past when you'd have liked to be asleep.
You don't look back when you leave the room, not even when you hear Elizabeth meow and attempt to follow you, for fear that Jumin will see your face and your tears.
For fear that Jumin will realize that thinking about the life you'll be leading brings you more pain than you've ever felt before.

28 for Sarah and Grayne...Laha as well (very curious about this one, bc amaurotines).
28. Does your muse want to have children, would they make a good parent?
Neither Granye nor Lahabrea particularly want to be or plan on being parents.
Granye can't imagine a life where she's in once place for an extended time, raising a child. She's been on the move ever since the Calamity, and now with the whole Warrior of Light mantle she's got now? A child would be so horribly dangerous and vulnerable. Maybe...maybe when everything's settled down, and Ascians aren't planning calamities and rejoinings and people aren't pulling her around the worlds...she might be able to picture herself living with her darlin' for long enough to think of that kind of life.
Lahabrea isn't a stranger to the idea of 'creating life', but he's extremely bewildered by the idea of creating life that way. He always thought Emet-Selch was too involved with things, especially the Garlean Empire. In the past, the idea of laying with a Spoken was enough to invoke the emotional reaction of LALALA I CANT HEAR YOU!
All that said, he's never been in the position of being so disgustingly in love with someone before, so, upon revisiting the thought at a later date, the idea of bringing a precious life into the world might have...some merit to him.
Whether or not they'd be 'good' parents, I don't think so. At least, not without the other to balance it out. Granye would try too hard to be the cool mum, and spoil her child, and Lahabrea would be way too strict and study-oriented. Together, though, they can balance the study/play and emotional/disciplinary needs of a child. Just don't ask about food, neither of them can cook to save their lives. Catch them living with the Fortemps for the first 8 years of the baby's life and begging Tataru for her culinary wisdom.
Saraa
She'd like kids. She'd love to give her father grandchildren to dote on, and she'd love to impart her knowledge to her child. She has love to give, it's just hard for her to open her heart to people who can break it.
As for if she would make a good parent...I think so. She might find it difficult to take care of a baby, and she would definitely feel upset because her child will never know the sound of their mother's voice. She'll never be able to comfort and coo to her child, or sing them to sleep. That would make her incredibly sad. However, carrying on her lineage and passing on her knowledge to the next generation would be a great thing for her. She sometimes mourns for the things she never learned from her own mother, though her dad and the other tribe mother's taught her well.
Still, the thought of motherhood is a long way off for her.
And though I say all of that for the three of them! I already have kids decided for quite a long while! Saraa's twins, Erhi and Altan, aren't in-game as anything more than retainers, and Myrganeidin is Granye and Lahabrea's distant future son lol

Star-Crossed Seas - ATEEZ

Please read the Masterlist before continuing, thank you.
Chapter 1: The Illusion of a flag
“Do hold on tight miss, we wouldn’t want you falling overboard.” The maid responsible for me ran after my quick and exuberating figure as I made my way around the large and grand ships masts swinging around the third, 3 times before being caught by loving arms. My mother had taken up my offer and pleading of wanting to join her on the voyage of a lifetime.
“Now, sweetheart listen to your nana. She’s doing this for your safety, behave dearest.” My mothers soothing and loving voice murmured into my years as she caressed the long locks of my soft hair that cascaded down my back.
“Yes, mother.” I shy back from her kisses as she played with the hem of my newly bought dress. The frocks were given to me on this occasion as we were going to live for some time in the main island of Rockport to live with my uncle. He was one of the highest commanders of the royal navy and was the queens second hand.
“You don’t want to ruin your beautiful gown you were just given.” She mused her hand caressing my cheek. The wind had picked up a little and as it had the ship rocked forward harshly as the sakes filled up with a particularly powerful gust.
She pulled me into her hold shielding me from the harsh winds that lead the ship to its final destination.
“Madame Emilia, do take the young lady into the main quarters, the deck isn’t a place for a young girl like her, we don’t want her getting wet or slipping.” he mutters the last part so only the dutchess could hear it. She glanced at him understanding what he meant and nodding.
“I’m a big girl, I can look after myself though. I’m almost 10 years old.” I plead to my mother speaking quickly to let her know the excitement I’m feeling. Lifting up all my fingers to show her the digits. She smiles at my antics.
“I know, but if you’re so big- A large 10! -We would need someone to captain this ship, don’t we?” she feigns thoughtfulness as she lifts her arm to her chin pretending to think about the question for a moment.
I quickly rise to the task, jumping up and down as I squeal. “Oh Please, let it be me. Pick me! I want to be the captain.”
“Well then, lead the way captain Ana!”
My mother watches as I run through the deck and past soldiers -under the command of my father as they stop to give a respectful bow- to the main quarters of the vessel the maid running after me to make sure I was safe.
“Thank you, Theo, for looking after us, its most difficult to do everything, especially with one child on the way as well as looking after Ana trying to keep her in form.”
The Madame thanked the officer next to her as she held her hand on her stomach greeting the first signs of life in her touch.
“Don’t thank me madame, I’m doing my duty I swore to protect you and the young lady as well as you infant for the time you stay away from the governor.” He bowed and made his way off to his main station.
I remember till this day seeing the black and orange flag sailing through the mist to the starboard side of the ship we were sailing on. There was another ship there, its presence was made known through the ringing of a distinct instrument and a bell.
Though I asked a couple of the maids and even my mother, none had heard a pin drop the whole time. My mother had told me to stop and that it was just my eyes seeing things since it was my first time on a ship.
I didn’t know if you had stayed on a ship for a while, it was possible to have hallucinations.
~~~
For a long time, I had forgotten about the black and orange flag I had witnessed brushing it off as my imagination playing tricks with me. I was only 10 after all. Though as I was getting ready to board a ship for the second time in my life almost 8 years after my first encounter with the ocean the memory had resurfaced again.
Such a dull time it was, I remember fairly that day there was no sun present in the bright blue sky only a boring gloomy mist of colourless clouds.
“Mother I’ll be fine; I’m going to attend a funeral not to live there.” I protest as my mother dotes on me again making sure my gown is properly worn. She pulls the mini cropped frills of my coat to my chest making sure I look modest.
“you’re a grown woman now, act like one and do be haste in your return,” she murmurs giving me a gentle reminder.
“Yes mother.” I smile at her worry showing through. I quickly give her a hug. As I couch down hugging my younger brother, the just 7 yr old had cheerfully come to greet me as he played with my locks.
“Mother, where’s Ana going?”
“She is going away for a short while and she’ll be back soon, don’t worry too much Avel.” My mother replies as she pulls him to the side.
“Anastasia,” she calls out as I have reached the bottom step of the grand staircase, I spin very quickly to face her.
She pulls out her pendant with the seal of the royal navy placed upon it and the scroll she wrote each one of us inside its hold.
I nod understanding as I pull mine out from underneath the clothing I wore. Showing it to her before entering the carriage.
The port was bustling with life and I know I would have been dangerously swept away from all of the commotion and excitement there was at the harbour.
My uncle informed me that he gave me a magnificent vessel to board as I travelled for a comfortable commute and following the officer that had accompanied me to the harbour I was surprised to my contentment. It was a magnificent vessel indeed one of the finest the Royal navy had to offer.
A three mast based wooden, mahogany, vessel with large white plain sheets of linen, the strongest cotton and two main quarters. The ship had a large British flag at the back signifying its loyalty and alliance to the Royal navy.
I hastily made my way to the port of the ship where I was to embark and take my leave.
~~~
I would love to ask my younger self why this seemed 10 times more exciting and fun than now, maybe it was because I was much older now it had seemed boring. I had gotten onto the ship and quickly changed into more comfortable robes that I could lounge in.
It was much later on in the day as the afternoon had neared. I was lounging in the main chair and table of the master cabin quarter and enjoying a custom dinner made specially for the royal family of the commander.
“My mother had instructed me not to walk around in my lounging robes, but I would love to take a walk on the main deck and steer the ship for a moment or two.” I murmur to the maid next to me.
She took the jug pouring me a glass of diluted fresh champagne. I had always been used to enjoying the finest of luxury around me, right from the moment I was born, up until this moment. I had people doting on me right and left for every moment of my life. It was all I was used to and knew, all I expected too.
A knock was heard from outside the double wooden framed doors, I hummed in response allowing the visitor entrance.
“My young lady, I come with a gift from your mother.” The young officer enters bowing his head.
Already? She’s sending me letters and gifts? Oh, mother it’s only been an afternoon.
“Do come in, officer Theo and call me Anastasia, no need for formalities.”
“please milady, I feel most comfortable with the formalities, allow me to call upon you this way.” I nod reluctantly allowing him to step forth and give me whatever was sent from my beloved parent.
The letter was placed before me along with a box.
I opened the letter reading the beautiful scripture my mother had always written in. smiling subconsciously over her elegance.
Dear Anastasia:
My love, I’ve left you to travel alone without the safety of me accompanying you, though your father, that cursed man, had specifically spoken saying he had wanted you to be the only one out of my family that was to visit his grave when he was to truly bite the dust.
I worry so greatly over your safety as you have become a young and mature woman. You’ve aged so very elegantly and beautifully. Do be careful and return with ease and hurriedly. I miss you and so does Avel.
I have left you the one thing I think may be of use to you in your travels, unfortunately there is no other fast route than to travel through the northern waters past pirate infested waters. I have placed your life in the hands of the most trusted officials and officer Theo will be the one to personally look after you if something is to occur.
No matter what happens, you must survive Ana. Use anyone and anything to survive. You have to return to me safe.
Keep it around your neck and whatever you do don’t take it off. May it keep your life safe my precious pearl.
Waiting for your return patiently, Your mother,
Madame Emilia Cordelia Blancscap.
I closed up the parchment paper opening a random drawer and placing it inside for safe keeping. I then opened the box and inside was the most beautiful yet strangest of amulets.
It looked to be quite symbolic, like it had affiliation with something different and with deeper meanings, as deep as the oceans themselves...
It was oval shaped with 4 ridged spikes at the edges of the top. On it stood a symbol of what looked to be a trident a fishtail and a crown. All three symbols engraved into the entity of what looks to be a scull.
I know mother secretly hated the fact that the royal navy were against sea folk. She herself was part of a descendant line of high merchant sailors from Spain.
What she never told me was what this pendant even meant. She didn’t mention anything about this or the fact that she had something as cryptic as this. I’ve never seen it around her or even in her possession...
Sighing, I stood up stretching as the maid prepared me my sheets to finally retire into my bed for the night.
“I would love to take a brisk walk for a moment around the deck.” I trailed off unsure of what to do.
“Milady you must rest you have a lot of duties ahead of you in the upcoming days and you will need your sleep.”
I nod agreeing to let the smooth wooden creaking and the push of the waves to and fro rock, lulling me to sleep.

💭 a precious memory
Send me a “💭“ and your Muse will experience one of my Muse’s Memories
You were always a lonely and gloomy child.
You didn’t have many friends, your parents could never figure out if they loved you or not, and your older sister treated you like shit.
Overtime, you had gotten used to this routine. It was gonna be like that until you were 18, only 6-7 more years to go; suck it up, buttercup.
However, you wished you had at least one friend you could always go to, who’d always be there for emotional support. Your prayers had been answered one Easter night. You were 11 going on 12 that year.
The house phone’s obnoxious ringing blared throughout the empty kitchen and living room. You groaned loudly and got off the black leather couch to answer the phone.
“Hello?” You ask.
“Octavia,” a familiar voice says— it’s your stepfather, “do we have a box to fit like...a small puppy in?”
You immediately feel excited, “we’re getting a dog?!”
“No.”
Oh.
So much for that.
“Well...” you replied, “I’m not sure if we do have one. Why?”
“No reason, just wanted to know. I’ll be home in a bit.”
The call ends.
You sit back down on the couch, turn up the volume on the TV, and continue to watch whatever it was you were watching before. What was it, some crime documentary?
Time flies in no time. You hear the loud movement of the garage door opening up; dad’s home. Before you could even open the door leading to garage, your stepfather comes in.
He says there’s a surprise in the car, and you’re not supposed to scream or freak out. This causes your curiosity to flare up as you rush by him and do the exact opposite of what he told you not to do; you scream. Not with fear, but excitement.
At the foot of the car, where all the pedals were, sat a dirty 8-week-old german shepherd, who couldn’t stop trembling and smelled that of charcoal. Without thinking twice, you scoop her up into your arms and take her into the house. Your sister and her friend heard all the commotion and decided to investigate. They became just as excited as you when they saw the dog.
Under the kitchen light, you noticed something was off about her eyes; one was blue, the other was brown. Just like you. It felt...as though fate brought you and this furry animal together.
You finally had a friend now.

When Bestie Visits
((A/N: This one was a request for something Seungkwan. They didn’t care what it was about; I think they just asked that it was kind of fluffy and funny...I think. Either way, this is what I came up with for our precious Boo. It made me laugh.)
Pairing: SeungkwanxReader
Genre: Humor/Friendship
Word Count: 3,138
Summary: You were minding your business on a random day when Seungkwan decided you needed to be “blessed with his presence” and stopped by your apartment to hang out. You soon made him question your sanity and loyalty as his best friend because he’s certain you’re trying to kill him.
                                                      *~*~*~*~*~*
For one reason or another, you started dreaming about hammers. You weren’t exactly sure what you were dreaming about before hand- you were fairly certain it had something to do with a celebrity death match- but now? Hammers…Dancing hammers…Dancing hammers tapping a catchy tune in your head. What the actual hell?
Roused from your blissful slumber at long last, you awoke enough to realize that that ‘hammering’ was actually someone knocking on your front door. Now who in the hell has such a death wish that they would go making sweet, disturbing music at…oh, look, 8 AM?!
“Oh my god. What the fu-yeah! I’m coming!” You stumbled off of your couch where you had passed out the night before and trekked towards the door, “I don’t know who you are, but you better have a good reason for being here!”
You flung the door open and felt your face fall flatly at the individual giving you a big cheeky, grin on the other side, “Seungkwan…”
“Surprise!” he exclaimed, holding his arms out, “Aren’t you glad and blessed to see me!?”
You waited a beat and then swung the door closed. Seungkwan stuck his foot out just in time to prevent the door from closing fully, whining at your cruel reaction.
“Yah! Is that anyway to treat your best friend?!” he cried, “And after I came all this way to see you?!”
“You act like we’re 400 miles apart from each other, Seungkwan. We live in the same city less than 30 minutes away from each other. Relax! And you could’ve called or texted me before attempting to break down my front door.”
“Where’s the fun in that? And besides,” he moved into the apartment and shut the door, following you into the living room, “I know you and you would’ve ignored the call before eventually putting it on silent.”
“Yeah, you’re probably right. You’re not exactly someone I’m dying to see this early in the morning,” you agreed, earning an unamused glare from your best friend as you flopped back on the couch, “What are you doing here, anyway? Should you be off being a famous idol somewhere?”
“I have the day off and decided to sneak away for a date,” he happily proclaimed, bounding over to the couch and squeezing in behind you.
“The only date you’ll ever get because what female in her right mind would ever enjoy spending that much time with you?”
“You enjoy spending time with me!”
“I tolerate spending time with you. There’s a difference. ACK!”
Seungkwan grinned victoriously after pinching your side, whining half-heartedly when you smacked his hip in retaliation and settled down with your back to him. You were both silent, the man sliding an arm underneath you until it could wrap comfortably around your middle, cuddling you close. YOU hardly reacted, only readjusting yourself so you were both more comfortable. Seungkwan had been cuddling like this with you probably not long after the both of you had met just a few years back. It was just the kind of friendship you had: comfortable and apparently touchy-feely.
“So…” you started after a couple of minutes, your eyes still closed, “What do you want to do today?”
“Karaoke!”
“NOT karaoke!”
You both spoke at the same time, you rolling your eyes when Seungkwan began throwing another fit like a petulant child. “Why not?! Why can’t we go do Karaoke?!” he questioned, writhing about and disturbing your once comfortable position.
“Because, you giant diva, you sing for a living already. You gotta give your voice and your throat a rest before you damage it. Day off means voice off. No karaoke,” you said, turning on your back and staring at the ceiling all while ignoring his pouting and tiny tantrum.
You did, however, elbow him in the chest when he dug his nails into your hip by accident. You hid a smile when he groaned and leaned back to rub the abused spot, Seungkwan muttering something about how mean you were being to him.
“Well, if we’re not going to do something fun like karaoke, then what do you suggest we do?” he asked, his voice dripping with attitude.
You took a moment to think of your options, somewhat distracted when the man started to absently hum a random song, before a mischievous smile spread across your lips. Seungkwan noticed it right away and suddenly didn’t feel so safe.
“Wh-What? What’s that smile for? Nothing good ever comes from that smile!” he exclaimed, extremely wary.
You shrugged, “Maybe not for you, but it’s gonna be loads of fun for me. Let’s go.”
“Wait! What are we doing?!” he cried after you jumped up, your chuckling filling him with fear as you grabbed the front of his shirt and yanked him to his feet.
*~*~*~*
“Wah! Y/N, don’t push me too fast!”
“You’re doing fine, Seungkwan.”
“I’m going to fall!”
“No you’re not. I’m right here.”
“How-How do I turn on this stupid thing?!”
“Normally you would lean with your body, but I don’t think you’re ready for that just yet.”
“I’M GOING TO FALL!”
“NO YOU’RE NOT!”
Decked out in protective gear, Seungkwan flailed his arms in panic, feeling himself teetering precariously on the skateboard. He feared himself having a terrible fall and he probably would have had one by now had you not been running right behind him, the back of his shirt gripped firmly in your hand. That hardly gave him any comfort, though, as he continued to scream in terror.
The two of you were currently at a new sports park that had opened up near your apartment just a couple months back. It was extremely popular considering it had chosen a location near a well-known university and several high schools. You were a regular at the park while your less than athletic best friend didn’t even know it existed.
You had already spent about half the day at the park, first giving Seungkwan the tour and explaining how everything worked. He was frowning almost the entire time, but you could tell that it was just because he was uncomfortable in this setting. He recognized it more as your domain, somewhere that you bloom and thrive beautifully, but a place that was as foreign to him as a completely different country.
Despite knowing that he was probably going to suck at almost every activity the park had to offer, you figured you had done enough karaoke nights with him- about 50% of them against your will- to earn one day at the sports park with him. You had started out with something small- Seungkwan screaming the entire time that bungee jumping was not small!- and worked your way down to your current and last activity: skateboarding.
“Y/N! Y/N, I’m going to hit something! How do I stop?!” he shouted, eyes locked on the metal pole that was fast approaching.
“Lean to the right.”
“No, I want to stop!”
“I said lean to the right!”
“Y/N!”
“Seungkwan! TO THE RIGHT!” You pulled on the back of his shirt and made him lean his body to the right, the singer missing the pole by mere inches. He had leaned over a little too far, though, and ended up putting all of his weight on his right side which then resulted in him falling off the skateboard completely.
Luckily, you were right beside him at this point and were able to break his fall by catching him, your laughter mixing with his indignant cries of terror. You held him securely against your body while he dramatically gasped for air and clutched at his chest. With eyes rolling to the heavens, you shook your head and continued to laugh.
“The drama in you,” you mused, smirking at him when he turned an aggravated glare at you.
“I am not being dramatic! I told you I was going to fall and you made me get on that thing anyway!”
“Of course you fell! You refused to believe that I wasn’t going to let you fall and did everything you could to psyche yourself out. It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy, Seung. What else did you expect?” you argued.
“Not certain death!” was the reply you got and you howled with laughter as Seungkwan sat there pouting, reclining back into your hold.
He was such a child with all his crying, whining and complaining, but it rarely annoyed you as much as you made it seem to him. His overreacting was part of what made Boo Seungkwan who he was and you wouldn’t take him any differently. He made your life colorful and interesting; not just because he was an idol, but because he was an amazing man you were proud to be best friends with.
You held him all the tighter against you and stroked his hair in a calming fashion as he continued to grumble under his breath; “I’m proud of you, though. You rode a skateboard,” you reminded him, leaning your head to the side to gaze at him, “You went way out of your comfort zone for this.”
“This whole day has been out of my comfort zone! I’m starting to wish I had never come over in the first place!” he shot back though his conviction was weak. If he had the choice to do it all over again, he knew he would just to see you.
You laughed at him and shook your head, “Admit it, Seung. You had fun here!”
He said nothing at first, pouting off to the side as you pinched his cheek. Batting your hands away and groaning in annoyance, he sighed before admitting, “I…I guess the Trampoline Grounds were fun.”
“Don’t act like you didn’t like the Zipline over the foam pit, too,” you teased, finally seeing a smile break across his face, “See? Knew it. Come on, let’s get up.”
“What? What hells activity are you dragging me to next?!” he questioned you worriedly when you stood up, his brows pinching tight together as he grabbed your hand and let you pull him to his feet.
With your head tilted back and a loud groan bubbling up from your throat, “I’m not dragging you to any hells activity, Seungkwan. I think you’ve had enough for the day, so stop your panicking.” You gave him a flat look when he sighed in exaggerated relief. “I swear…Aren’t you glad I made you change clothes before we came out here? Although it would have been hilarious to see you rock climbing in your $54 sweater…now I kind of regret making you change. Damn.”
“I can’t believe how many articles of my clothes you have at your apartment,” he mused, following after you when you began to lead him back towards the entrance to the park, the rented skateboard under your arm after a fellow boarder handed it back to you.
“I can’t believe you never noticed how many articles of your clothing you leave at my apartment. I’m still trying to figure out how I ended up with 10 pairs of your shorts there.”
“Just admit that you stole them,” he teased, the both of you stopping at a vending machine to buy a cool drink.
“I’m not admitting to a crime that no one would commit even if desperate,” you shot back, an amused smile planted on your lips when Seungkwan gasped dramatically, hand over his heart and his mouth parted in wide ‘o’ shape.
“Do you enjoy hurting me so?”
“More than you know.”
You laughed at his expense, paying for the drinks and handing one over to him. A temporary silence filled the air, you and Seungkwan overlooking the park as the sun slowly began to set, a golden light cast over the entire playground. The singer soon lost interest in the scene before him when he glanced at you and saw this…serene expression cross your features, the smallest, happiest smile creeping upon your lips. He wondered if you were this happy every time you came here…or maybe you were just that much happier because you were sharing this experience with him.
He chose to think it was the latter.
“You really like it here, don’t you Y/N?” he asked to break the silence, your eyes focusing on him.
Your smile was too genuine to try and cover up as you nodded to confirm his theory. “I do,” you said, leaning against the vending machine, “I was really happy when it opened up. It’s a great place for me to come and work out my stress without having to go to the gym all the time. It’s a good way for me to relax, you know? It’s like…well, it’s my karaoke.”
Seungkwan smiled at that, chuckling with his eyes trained on his drink now as he lost himself in his own thoughts for a moment. He couldn’t help but to wonder how he got so lucky to have a best friend like you. Someone so different in nearly every way and yet the perfect complement to his own personality. What good had he done in his past life to have such a blessing?
“Speaking of singing, how are things going with the boys?” you inquired, drawing his eyes back up to you, “You guys have been pretty busy lately. I mean, you’re busy all the time, but I feel it’s more so now than you had been a few months ago. Are you preparing for a comeback?”
“You know I can’t tell you that, but yes. Yes we are,” he responded, you nearly choking on your drink when you started laughing, “It’s gonna be soon, so look out for it.”
“I always do.”
“And everything is great with the guys, actually. We are really busy: practicing and rehearsing and recording. It’s a lot of hard work, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I love the music that we make and how the Carats are so supportive of us. I love how we all get along so well and balance each other out. I just…well…”
When Seungkwan paused, you looked closer at him, finding a shallow sadness flitting across his face. He seemed solemn now, his eyes cast down for a moment before they lifted back up to lock with yours.
“I just miss you sometimes,” he admitted and you wanted to melt at how sweet he was being, “I wish I could spend more time with you, Y/N. We hardly even get to text each other these days. I’m afraid that we’ll be so disconnected that we’ll just drift apart one day and never talk to each other again. I don’t want to lose my best friend. I can’t stop worrying about it.”
And he was telling the truth; you could see it in the way his grip on his drink tightened in an attempt to keep his emotions in check. Not that it did much good in keeping his expressions in check, his insecurities as plain as the nose on his face. You sighed quietly and nudged his shoulder, taking one of his hands in yours. When he looked at you, you were grinning.
“Listen to me and listen to me good, Seung,” you started, making sure you had his full attention, “You’re stuck with me. I don’t care how long we go without talking to each other or how long it’s been since we’ve last seen each other; I’m always going to be a thorn in your side as your best friend. I’m always going to be here and I’m always going to support you. You’ll honestly have to kill my entire family and then sleep with my future boyfriend before that ever changes.”
The things you say never cease to stun him, Seungkwan having to take a second to comprehend the fact that sleeping with your future boyfriend would be the straw that broke that camel’s back…and not the murder of your family. When he was finally all caught up, he started laughing. It was a mere chuckle and then a giggle and before you knew it, he was doubled over and holding his stomach.
You grinned victoriously, proud of yourself for putting his worries and fears to rest. Seungkwan was insecure about enough things, from his singing ability to his own attractiveness. The last think you wanted him to be concerned about was the solidity of your friendship. You loved this crazy, melodramatic, diva of a man named Boo Seungkwan as the closest thing to a brother you would ever have and you were going to make him understand that no matter how long it took.
Finishing off your drink and tossing the can away, you stood straight and faced him with your hands on your hips, a smirk stretched across your face.
“There’s one more thing I want us to do,” you said.
Fear flashed in his eyes again, “What’s with that smile?! NOTHING GOOD EVER COMES FROM THAT SMILE!”
*~*~*~*
While it’s funny that you could put the fear of God into him, you really wished Seungkwan would trust you a little more when it came to choosing activities. It would have saved you both the heartache of his near panic attack he was having on the way into the city. However, that hardly mattered now as you sat clapping along to the beat of the song, listening as Seungkwan belted out the lyrics to one of his favorite songs that blasted from the speakers in the karaoke room you rented out.
The original plan had been to rest his voice for the day, but nothing made him happier than singing…and apparently spending time with you, so why not give him what he wanted? Who knew when the next time would be that the both of you could hang out like this? Might as well enjoy it while it lasted, no matter what you were doing.
“Whooo! Go Seungkwan! Encore! Encore!” you cheered for him as the song came to an end, the man bowing oh so dramatically before he was skipping up to you and grabbing your wrist.
“Duet! Duet!” he ordered, tugging on your arm.
“Yeah, no. I don’t sing.”
“You do tonight!”
“Hold up! Oh!” you laughed when he yanked you up and made you stand in front of the TV with him, choosing a song the both of you could sing together.
You really couldn’t sing, but Seungkwan couldn’t care any less about how professional you didn’t sound and cheered you on regardless. You were now back in his domain, but that was okay. As long as he was happy, smiling, and relaxing, you would make a fool of yourself…just like he made a fool of himself at the park. That’s what best friends did for each other. That’s what you would do for Seungkwan and what he would do for you.
Always.

wanted plots for my 1x1 blog @mostpxculiar as well as fcs I’d like to play/play opposite to. please like this post, or dm me if you’d like to discuss any of these plots further! tw: nsfw/smut plots cheating, pregnancy, murder/blood,  under the cut.
plots i want, but also please come at me with plots YOU want!
a plot based off of fleabag/hot priest from fleabag
someone should give me a plot with this big bad gang leader and his super soft and cute girlfriend that has him wrapped around her finger. like he’s a feared man, which she doesn’t really care about. and she’s there to patch him up and while he usually tries to hide her away from the cruel world he’s in whenever he isn’t there with her, she just patiently waits for him when he’s out and about doing his business and he’s so fascinated by her and no matter how much of a bad guy he is, he’s just so soft for her and he’d do anything for her!!! and then his most precious possession gets kidnaped and shit goes down snsnsns (m/f, f/f)
f/f plot where a snobby, graceful, poised and rich prima ballerina falls in love with a reckless pole dancer who is super hot with a 6 pack and colourful hair and the girls are total polar opposites pls hmu
a plot where muse a just needs to get away from everything so she packs up everything into her small shitty car that barley runs and just drives. she loses count of the boarders she crossed until she lands right into the middle of a small town where the population is like 2 thousand and her car breaks down. so she goes into a diner that she sees is open and she asks about a mechanic so the lady in the diner calls up her friend who happens to be muse b, the local mechanic. so muse b comes over and tells her that he wont be able to check her car out until morning bc its like 10 pm now so muse a is going to check into a motel or smth but muse b offers to put her up for the night and bc shes broke she says yeah and basically they end up banging with the intention that after tomorrow they are never gonna see each other again - wrong. muse b goes down to his shop and looks at the engine and a really important parts gone in it and its going to take a couple weeks for it to come in and basically muse a has to stay in this shitty small town for the next couple of weeks AND THEY FALL FOR EACH OTHER AND WE CAN FIGURE THE REST OUT! (m/f, f/f)
I really want a one night stand where she snuck out before he woke up and he tried looking her up but he didn’t even know her full name, so he moved on. Move on years down the road and he’s just gotten engaged and at the engagement part he’s introduced to her sister that’s been living overseas for the past few days, but who is it, that girl from all those years ago. Better yet, meet her child, wait, why do they his eyes.
modern hades and persephone where persephone is a tired college student and when she finds out the god of the underworld wants to make her his bride she’s like “become queen of the dead AND never have to go to an 8 AM lecture again, not to mention watch with popcorn as my ex dies and finds out my new boyfriend is his new king? YES PLZ” and just fucking swandives down into the underworld and hades is like “…i had a carriage prepared but okay that works too”
plot three. six months ago he let the nanny give him head. he has been avoiding talking to her since, and is really flustered. she is a full time, live in nanny in their giant mansion. i’m getting a ‘living in england’ vibe, but i’m not sure. he has 3-4 kids running around with his wife of years. the nanny can’t stand the wife, but is obviously polite. his wife is bitchy, whiny, and all she cares is about appearances. who cares if you’re actually happy? just play happy. pretend to be happy. the nanny loves to fluster him when the wife isn’t home. she’ll wear short outfits, lean over, not wear underwear, forget to wear a bra. it was a holiday. so they invited the nanny to eat dinner with them. she starts rubbing him under the table. later on that day, he pulls the nanny to the side into the bathroom or something to tell her that she had to cut it out and that it was a one time thing. out of the blue  - he kisses her hard. just give me lots of behind the wives back, and maybe she gets pregnant down the line?
ok but i need a plot where there’s these two idiots who are roommates, and they bicker and act like a married couple constantly, and can hang out like bros but they’re completely platonic, no we’re not in love that’s preposterous!! and it’s so evident that they’re into each other like whenever one goes out on a date, the other is all bitter like ‘no i’m definitely not jealous’. and they like leave bars together at some stupidly early hour and their friends tease them and they just go home and get drunk together instead. and like domestic washing the dishes and fighting over who does what and flinging soap at each other. and then one day it kind of just clicks, you know, like wow you’re my best friend but i think i might love you as more this is so difficult and just, give this to me now.  (m/f, f/f)
not to be dramatic or anything but i really want a sugar daddy/sugar baby plot where the muse a is “ happily ” married ceo of a big company with shit tons of money and muse a goes out to a local bar just to chill when they meet muse b. ofc they hit it off and go in muse a’s car and fuck all night and in the morning muse a offers muse b a proposition, if muse b agrees to be muse a’s mistress then muse a will give muse b anything they want starting their sugar baby/sugar daddy relationship. it’s all good until muse a sees muse b all over another guy and looses it and gets into a huge fight with muse b that ends with muse a fucking muse b up against his car and yea gimmie this smut i need sneaky around and sexting while around his wife nd getting him riled up like yes pls thank
bloody , murderous & psychotic couples who love killing people for the thrill and make out with bloody lips and high five each other by the mountains of dead bodies they made . fuckyeah ?  give me this crazy shit . serial killer couples . vampire couples . dark romeo & juliet couples . modern au persephone & hades couples . couples who compete to see who kills the most or the most gruesome . give me gore . give me bloodshed . GIVE IT TO ME !  (m/f, f/f) (focusing a lot on hades/persephone, vampires but willing to go the bonnie and clyde or serial killer route)
no offense but i need a messy exes plot where they can’t get over one another no matter what they do and they always tell themselves they’re not gonna go back to them yet every time they get done with a date they end up knocking on the other person’s door and just jealousy and angst and heartbreak and crying because they don’t know if this is ever going to work out but they can’t walk away because this person is still their whole fucking world and they don’t know how to move on  (m/f, f/f)
faceclaims I’d like to play and play against or both  but also literally come at me with your fcs!!!

SHIP/PLOTTING WISHLIST
platonic and romantic !!!  most of these are ship suggestions but also just some regular plots too for most muses!
DAWN
babysitters/nannies for dawn that become one of her bestest friends in life other than storm and her family because cat and scott need help around the house so they hire someone to help!
older muses who need some cheering up so little dawn is their spot of sunshine
superhero muses saving little dawn from being kidnapped.  maybe in her daughter of superhero scott verse so she was being used against her dad and the other muse helps
teen dawn with people who need love.  girls who hide behind badassery but just want something soft, boys who need help stepping back in line, sad people, whoever.  let her love.
royalty dawn being nudged to perhaps marry a prince of a kingdom but falling in love with the guard/brother/sister/servant or something instead.
someone adopting abandoned dawn ( see verses )
angel dawn saving someone!  growing up their friend and little guardian angel!
dragonborn dawn with other magical creatures or dragons!
miraculous dawn, pirate-mermaid, hogwarts, or pokemon dawn aus!
LAILA
laila with other rich/famous people going out and living it up.  maybe having some friends with benefits moments... maybe more ( for males, at least, sorry womens but laila has a type fjasklda )
laila and super close girl friends just living it up too, though, being amazing and supporting each other in life and relationships and laila making sure her friends are treated like the queens they are
laila being corrupted by bad boys
android laila falling in love but knowing it’s not right for someone to be with her because she’s not human
junior is killed au where laila is the complete opposite of who she is normally.  paranoid and sad and restrained and a bit overly serious, needing love and distractions from the truth and the two hells she endured
elf-unicorn, hogwarts, and werewolf laila aus
FAITH
faith is popular, give her lots of biffles.  baking friends, cheerleading friends, classmates, wHATEVER.  let them see how overworked she is and how little sleep but her putting them first if they’re having any problems and just not cARING.
muses lost in the forest and running into her forest spirit verse
i LOVE WEREWOLF FAITH COME PLAY WITH THE CUTE FLOOF, let her show your muse her magical world if they’re also magic or maybe accidentally!
famous singer, princess, and pokemon also could be fun !!!
GRAY
give gray some fans :D  or fellow actors.  or people who look up to him because his story made the news and he’s trying his best ( tm ) and he just wants to support others who are going through hell and need to know they can have a future.
i want gray to stumble around pretty girls.  pretty normal girls or pretty magic girls...  whether he’s normal or prince him.  ommmmg prince him needs a soft girl to help him out so much.
werewolf gray threads!
RED
season three red being a little troublemaker and pranking others but also having people just adopt her other than lance because she’s such a precious soul deep down.
same with modern red.  and older modern red being the strange, pretty homeless girl who no one knows how she’s getting by because she’s become such a talented thief, maybe stealing from a muse taking her in only to realize she actually likes them and returns the things later because she values their friendship or the like more.
wHO WANTS TO PLAY WITH MODERN WITCH RED? 8)  I NEED MORE OF THESE INTERACTIONS BECAUSE I REALLY, REALLY LOVE THIS VERSE.
i also made a version of red as a werewolf.  it’s MY version buuuut 8D
PIPER
i don’t really have aus for piper i need an excuse to make more!
give her pretty girls !!!  she is so weak for tough, strong characters but she also would be down for tender and emotional and just.  will make herself stronger to support them yES.
older brother relationships, she needs someone to look up to and to protect her and care for her and love her.  i have no idea yet how she’ll feel about guys so maybe but !!!  regardless they could be so close!
MITTENS
be her neighbor post movie and earn her affection with yarn balls and tuna.
MOLLY AND BRENT
help molly learn about the world again!  someone she can spat with or who will help her and guide her!!
nerd out with brent!  or your muse in trouble and him panicking because he’s been working out so much to be strong enough to be useful when others are in danger but still feeling so useless.
LADY
a muse taking the place of junior?  so they were the child growing up with lady.  awwww maybe an older lady, tired with age just still loving on her bby.
MIRA
always here for mira being soothed from her anger and just adopted and bring out the sweet, kitten side of her.  ooooor be the opposite and fuel her anger, help her find the last murderer to kILL HIM.
FALINE & GEORGETTE & OLAF & CHARLOTTE
nothing specific currently, so open to thoughts!  these muses have been very lax lately and have just done calmer threads.  still available for plotting however :D

moocha-muses replied to your photo “MEANWHILE…. Rubati smuggled some chips out of the fridge, prompting me...”
I've read apocalypse plays where simmers got around this by just keeping the fridge turned around until they wanted to use it.
Oh yeah, I’ve heard about that trick too.  The “fridges” in use here are the Sun&Moon Butcher Set Hanging Animals fridges though, and while they physically could turn around, the aesthetic wouldn’t work for me and having to turn it back around to use it would get old, I imagine.
Far easier to challenge myself with diligently policing their autonomous actions (which are generally few anyway) and, gasp, perhaps make sure they’re all properly fed in the first place.  Now (Y1D4) that everyone’s better at fishing, they’re doing it autonomously at the Fishin’ Hole while other characters are active, which means each family usually has at least one fish in inventory already when I enter a lot.  Maybe later I’ll make it harder for them to use these fish, but I have got BoilingOil’s mod that makes fish worth fewer food points so they still need more than one per day to stay fed - especially once the kiddos start arriving!
snarkysims replied to your post “!!!!!”
Yay! Glad you found the pics!
Me tooooo, I was really, really confused about it!
snarkysims replied to your photoset “Noel:  “Hey, Kimbs, thanks for putting up with me.  You’re the only...”
Awww... he was sweet to her. And yes, that nose is, um, interesting.
He’s got just enough self-awareness to be tolerable.  Like me :)
His nose is built to stand the test of time lolol, I’m sure we’ll see it all over in Gen 20...
niamh-sims replied to your photo “Didn’t I promise you fireworks and stars and good times had by all?”
That last picture is gorgeous!
I think I actually answered this one on the post itself, but thank you again.  I am doing everything in my power to try and keep up the level of gorgeous even as round by round my graphics settings are chipped away :(
niamh-sims replied to your photo “Meraki Y1D1 Summary *  We got to know our founders a lot better! ...”
Congratulations! How are you playing your rotations? Are you playing with any mods that change the length of the Seasons or ages?
Thanks!  I’m really glad you asked these questions because I love getting into the weeds on gameplay styles!! tldr I’m legit crazy about rotations.
I have pretty much always done rotations of 1-3 days at a time, and it will be flexible within a game depending on when someone is giving birth, aging up, or dying.  I’m fanatical about maintaining “proper” birth order - even though everyone ages at the same time every day, and lot sync timer, and blah blah. So like, right now everyone is playing through 2000 on day 4, then Stachia will give birth, I’ll name her baby, and then switch to Rubati’s birth, then play everyone through midnight (yes, a four hour chunk of probably watching them sleep but who knows, maybe someone makes a late trip to grab some water from the Fishin’ Hole), then I’ll do Nadii’ya’s birth, play everyone through till morning, then do Junia’s birth around 0500-0700, THEN everyone will play until it’s the hour of Kimba’s birth, then Saphir’s birth, then Stachia and Rubati’s babies’ birthdays... and on and on and on.  It’s probably confusing to read about but less confusing to do - and, you won’t notice any difference because the pictures are going to post normally.
So then why bother?
90% of it is me liking to get interactions with pregnant sims on community lots by making sure the other families get played up until the synchronous hour at which they will give birth.  On the old community time mod, I never ever ever let preggos leave home, which was unfair to them but required for the game to calculate the pregnancy correctly/not bork the hood (as far as I know).  Now, using CH’s update, it... is workable to let them leave the lot, with judicious use of SimBlender’s pregnancy control options.  (I don’t use CH’s pregnancy controller so it still has to be done manually.)  But now I’m so used to micromanaging their time that I can’t help it and barely think twice about it.
The other 10%, and this speaks more to the shorter rotations that break at 1800, is wanting to make sure kids are kids on the same day on everybody’s lot, teens are teens, etc etc.  If I had a five-day rotation, and Stachia’s kid aged to teen on day 4, then on everyone else’s lot’s days 1-3.99 that Sim would be walking by as a teen instead of as a child, shortchanging them and their peers of precious time for age-appropriate interaction.
No mods to change age lengths or seasons lengths, except that teens should age up to adult when they have anywhere between 11 and 7 days left.  I fudge it sometimes if the partner they’re destined for is way older/younger than they are, which is the only reason why I don’t use the mod that shortens it to 8 days.  I have been considering getting a shorter pregnancy mod, but probably won’t do it.  I like the motive decay of pregnancy to really endanger them :)
In a “real” game, where the point isn’t to churn generations, I have used longer lifespan and other attendant mods.  In my last ToT attempt, I used a longer life mod for pets but not Sims, because I didn’t want to have to say goodbye to any of them, but I doubt I’ll do that this time because it’s just too weird to have them basically live as long as the Sims do.

hi  <3  i’m  diana,  i’m  nineteen   (   twenty  in  a  week......no  one  talk  2  me   ),   i  use  she/her  pronouns  n  reside  in  the  est  time  zone   !!    quick  facts  abt  me...i’m  a  libra   (   so  yes,  i’m  a  little  dumb   ),   i  am  a  lana  del  rey  and  girl  group  stan  FIRST  and  human  second....and  that  is  all   !!    now  onto  seraphina,  u  can  read  abt  this  baby  below  the  cut.  also  u  should  plot  with  me  because  u  make  me  ~  𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍   ~
(   NEPTUNE, JANG YEEUN, CIS FEMALE, SHE/HER   ) guess what, SERAPHINA WANG has just landed in cannes with their private jet. they are a TWENTY year old socialite, who spends much of their time & money DAY-DREAMING. i think their family is in the BEAUTY INDUSTRY and their net worth is around 2 BILLION USD.
(    𝑩𝑨𝑪𝑲𝑮𝑹𝑶𝑼𝑵𝑫.   )
seraphina was born on the 4th of march, 1999. she was born in paris, france because her parents were in town for fashion week. creating and leading one of the biggest beauty companies in the world, her mother was expected to attend
her father protested, due to how close she was to her due date, but despite her pregnancy, her mother never really stopped working and continued to work even after seraphina was born
the story behind her parents marriage was not especially romantic. her mother came from old money, and her father was a soccer player, also heir to his parents fortune. it was a match made in heaven--or hell, depending on who you ask
they were quick to marry, but her father actually fell madly in love. her mother enjoyed his devotion, but when it came down to it, she was married to her career and all she really strove for was success
they were married for around 8 long years when her mother got pregnant. of course, it wasn’t planned in the slightest, and she wasn’t too thrilled but her parent’s (sera’s granparent’s) had been pushing for grandchildren for years
her father was happy. he thought a child was the perfect way to get her mother to step down from work for a bit and for them to actually be a happy family
unfortunately for seraphina and her father, that was never the case. her mother put her career before anyone else. she never wanted to get married or have kids in the first place
so, when seraphina was born, she was handed off to a nanny and her mother went straight to work
her father attempted to be there at the start, and he was for a few years, but it became increasingly difficult to be around seraphina who resembled her mother so much. he felt it was a constant reminder of his failed marriage and miserable life
seraphina was left to the nannies again. luckily for her, she was raised by two wonderful women who loved her dearly. they taught her the importance of kindness and let her know it was okay to be sensitive. admittedly, they coddled her a bit too much and it would make her vulnerable in the future
she grew up with both her parental figures mostly absent. her father popped in once in a while, but he had succumbed to alcoholism and was too busy wrapped up in a string of affairs to really care.
her mother was away on business most of the time, but there were some nights when she’d return from a business trip and pay her daughter a visit. she would tell her stories about her travels, tales of extravagant parties and experimental fashion. seraphina ate it up. she craved for her mother’s attention desperately, so when she received it, she dreamed of the stories she told her for months until she’d see her again and hear new stories
despite her situation, she didn’t feel any resentment toward her parents. in fact, she wanted their love and validation more than anything. but she figured as long as they were happy doing whatever they were doing, she shouldn’t be so selfish in wanting them to spend time with her. besides, all the kids like her experienced the same thing. neglect was just part of the package
she spent all of her free time with her head in a novel or watching obscure cinema. she enjoyed getting lost in the stories, pretending she was part of them. she also became increasingly fascinated with the idea of love, especially as she grew older, though she had no idea what it was supposed to look like. her only examples were the things she saw in movies or read in her favorite books
when it came to schooling, seraphina switched around a lot between new york city, australia and france. it made it difficult to make long term friends, but she liked not being in one place for too long
she had boyfriends and girlfriends here and there, but nothing truly stuck. it was easy for her to fall for someone, but once they got together, she realized maybe she didn’t actually like them all that much
still, she believed in love as strongly as ever and believes one day she’ll find it, the real kind
it was always easy for seraphina to make friends. she was kind to everyone, but being a wang came with certain perks. no one would dare say a bad word about her. how could they?
all she wanted in a friend was someone that was willing to try new things with her. she was a good girl, but she would do or try almost anything for the experience
only in recent years has seraphina started to realized the way the world truly works. after years of hiding it, she found out her father had another child. it wasn’t intentional, but it happened with some woman he had an affair with
the worst part was, he was actually there for that child. it wasn’t hard for him to lead a secret life with another family while seraphina was away at school and her mother off on business
this discovery broke her heart. for the first time in her life, she understood what it was like to have your heart broken. she’s done her best to pick up the pieces and move forward, but it isn’t as simple as she hoped it’d be
she tries to maintain her optimistic outlook, but she finds that some of her beliefs are changing
(    𝑷𝑬𝑹𝑺𝑶𝑵𝑨𝑳𝑰𝑻𝒀.   )
seraphina is a dreamer at heart. you can always find her lost in one of her daydreams. her attention span can be pretty short, only because her mind is constantly lingering on some fantasy
she is a very friendly, a softie u could say. she tries to be friends with everyone, partially because she is a bit of a people pleaser, but obviously not everyone will like u and she has trouble accepting this.
she also tends to be a bit of an optimist, so it’s easy for her to be manipulated or like taken advantage of. she’s a glass half full kind of girl
she is a pisces sun libra moon, so yes, a softie. falls in and out of “love” very quickly but it isn’t actually love most of the time.
she can be pretty naive at times because she was never rly exposed to anything that CRAZY and even when she is she’s just akdjhsjkhd dumb idk so she’s like :O most of the time when anything happens
ok she loves to have fun and make memories and live life. she refuses to waste any of her precious time being bored so she’s always off doing something to keep herself entertained
she loves to try new things and will try ANYTHING once
with her mom being such a prominent leader of the beauty industry, seraphina grew to love all things related to fashion and makeup. she uses both as the ultimate form of self expression and can often be seen in some weird looks (euphoria makeup lolzzz). she doesn’t really have a set aesthetic fashion wise because she dresses however she’s feeling in the moment and her interests are often changing, but her fav color is blue so you’ll catch her in blue a whole lot
she clings desperately to her fantasies despite how easily they can be torn down. she tries to remain in her little bubble and dream world because things are better there, or are they rly? lowkey she’s just running from her true feelings which she’s kinda bottled for years n years whew,,,,
she is a social butterfly she loves to be around people but can get bored easily so she likes when ppl keep things spicy
she is bi bi bi babey !
(    𝑾𝑨𝑵𝑻𝑬𝑫 𝑪𝑶𝑵𝑵𝑬𝑪𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵𝑺.   )
adventure buddy - someone who is down to do some fun shit with her !!! someone who explores with her and tries new things with her
ex-fling/gf/bf - there could b a few of these !! they could have ended on bad terms or good terms still have lingering feels or sexual tension or something of the sort but we can plot out the details however
unrequited crush -  maybe seraphina has a crush on ur muse. she is constantly falling for people so it would not be unlikely !! OR ur muse could have a crush on her and she’s oblivious to it
current fling/friends w benefits - someone she is currently seeing/sleeping with. could be no strings attached, or there could b some feelings there. maybe they don’t want to make it anything serious, or maybe they’re ready to take it to the next level. maybe one person is ready to go further, and the other isn’t.
enemies w benefits - imagine the tension !!! they started out not getting along, but ended up hooking up. maybe it was a one time thing, or maybe they can’t stop going back to each other. i think it would b cool if they kept it a secret, they don’t want anyone else to know. this could develop in soooo many ways ! pls i want this it’s so sexy and she doesn’t dislike/not get along w that many people i’d say so it will be so interesting
ex-friends - someone she used to consider a best friend, but they had a falling out for whatever reason n maybe they hate each other now. maybe they want to re-kindle their friendship but don’t know how
sibling-like friendship - someone she sees like a sibling. they’re there for each other and look out for one another, always have each other’s backs. being an only child (minus her new sibling that she does not even know) and not really close to her parents, she would love a friend that she could basically call family !
dynamic duo - basically like her current best friend. this person is prob one of the closest people to her and knows her very well ! they could b a power duo, always looking out for each other
take care - someone who kind of looks after her ?? maybe when she parties a lil too hard and drinks a lil too much, someone who kind of takes care of her n makes sure shes ok ! they would be someone she trusts a lottttt and also seraphina is a lightweight so like,, sis needs the help
confidant - someone who confides in her or someone she confides in, or they confide in each other. they don’t necessarily have to be the closest friends ever, but they get along, trust each other, and maybe they talk more in private
rivals - they don’t like each other for whatever reason. maybe it’s jealousy or their personalities just clash, but for whatever reason they do not get along. maybe they bring out a bad side to seraphina that most ppl dont see
bad influence - seraphina is a mostly good girl, so i’d luvvvvv for a bad influence plot !! she drinks and does drugs here n there but other than that she’s pretty much a good girl so someone fuck her up and change that pls
good influence - someone she can be a good influence on, someone she brings out the best in, maybe someone she rly cares about and wants to look after to make sure they’re ok !!
these are all the plot ideas i can think of for now, but i’ll prob make a plots page later on and add more stuff !
